It's a nerve racking thing taking the first step sometimes. So many questions, concerns..you want to dive in but may be unsure how, or self esteem may be pulling you back...there are workshops out there that have a range of information for couples, single ladies and single gents looking at the following:
Communication, online safety, safe sex, consent, meets (clubs, hotels etc) and club etiquette.
Purple Mamba Club in Nottingham do monthly workshops for couples, single gents and single ladies, giving 'newbies' a chance to find out info, gain advice and ask questions.
Registration is required for these (membership to the venue is not required) You can contact the club directly for more info or DM this profile. |

I was thinking about this kind of thing the other day as am going to a speed dating event to support a friend & thought how good it would be to have similar for people interested in the lifestyle! |

"That’s a great idea. I recently attended a Fab speed date/meet night and we took a few newbies to our local club. It was easier then as they knew some people.
Maybe more clubs should do this. "

Whilst I think this is a nice idea, do people really need workshops in social skills? Whilst some undoubtedly do, they are unlikely to be the ones attending. On the plus side, if it gives people more knowledge and confidence in the lifestyle then it's a good thing. |

I'd love to attend a workshop like this.
I have a hidden disability that impacts my social skills, so yes some guidance would be really handy! And advise on basic etticute too.
Shame they are too far from me, would definitely be good to have something like this locally. |

Hi all, these are still running xx
In fact, it's just got a little easier. Usually for the workshops we limit the numbers in order to have a guided session within the 2 hours.
As the workshops have moved online, we're able to offer a few more places for each (as long as you have reasonable internet access).
Both workshops are running at the same time:-

Upcoming date for both online workshops is the 28th June (from 6pm and 8pm). There’s plenty of time for Q and A too afterwards. There’s other online workshops lined up this month although some have now moved on xx

What a fantastic idea this is, well done to all those involved in organising this! From a single guy's perspective of experience in the club scene, it's nice to see people actively encouraging single guys to get involved! A great shame for me, being so far away, but I hope others take advantage  |
