Totally agree, and in fact make it clear in my profile it's an instant block!

I have sent a message saying that I appreciate the FR but, as I can't see the profile and haven't spoken to them, I can't accept it. Also explained I would happily do so if we chat a but now and I can at least see the profile.

I don't accept friend requests from people who I haven't chatted to. Definitely not from a hidden profile.

If you haven't had a good look at their profile and some conversation, how do they consider themselves friends.

I wouldn't have bothered sending them a message to explain .

A local couple sent me a FR a few weeks ago so I accepted. Messaged twice in two weeks to see if they wanted to chat.they read both Messages but didn't reply? Why waste my time?
