Would it be wrong or generally not accepted to message someone and ask why they deleted your message without any reply?

I did sent a very nice and polite message to a localish couple who were looking to meet someone exactly like myself (according to their profile)

I accept and respect that, but wondered why ?

Why does it matter?

Do you really need to know?

If the people who I'd deleted messages from all asked why I'd spend a bloody long time writing to people I didn't want to meet.

Build a bridge...and get over it and find someone to have fun with!

It's up to them , they don't have to give you a reason...

Leave it be...

If your message has been deleted I would take it that they're not interested

Messaging them again to ask why could end up with that message also being deleted or you getting some pretty direct and sometimes not nice replies

Don't get too hung up on it,its not personal to you as they don't know you,but you will drive yourself mad if you worry too much about every message sent

Not everyone replies to every message received

Nearly all messages I send get deleted without reply. I take it as a 'No Thanks' which is in effect a reply... if you get my meaning. for me as a single guy it is how it is. There are much better looking single guys out there so accept I have to work very hard at it. Which brings me to a question of my own which I shall start a new thread

That is a good point and generally what I do, just wondered what others did and thought about it.

Tend to think a "no thanks" is a nice alternative to deleting messages, but depends on how many messages people are receiving

I completely agree and respect peoples decisions to just delete messages without a response, however I will reply to every message I get, regardless of who it is from or what they are offering. But that's just how I roll......
