They take forever to heal which is where I think people tend to give up. I don't think it hurts getting them done, for me the little clamp to like pull it hurt more than the needle itself.
I did tend to catch mind on doorframes though which hurt ALOT. X |

Go for it! As others have said most of the pain is during the healing process. Follow after care guidance and you'll be fine as long as your pain threshold isn't low.
I've had mine for over 10 years and love it; very much part of me |

Iv had mine done over all about 15 years. Had to get them redone 7 years ago as I heal over really quickly after had to remove for a couple of months when I had a baby. Pain wise, personally very little, wasn't numbed either and soaked once a day in sea salt water which is how iv always cleaned all my piercings. But everyone is different and you won't know unless you try it |

It depends on your pain threshold and whither they numb it or not. The second piercing hurts more because you’ve already expended some of the adrenaline you build up to get it done in the first place.
That a couple of ibuprofen an hour or so before, just to help with pain management if you think you’ll need it and ask the piercer whither they’ll numb the area for you etc.
Aftercare is pretty simple. Remember and spin the piercings and keep them clean. You can buy cleaning solution from your piercer or they’ll give you other recommendations. Just make sure you do it! Half the issues people have with any piercings is to do with lack of proper care and attention to aftercare.
I actually REALLY enjoyed getting mine pierced, and a reacted pretty drastically to it which was VERY unexpected! |
