What are your thoughts on those whose profiles state ‘must be able to engage in conversation’ ... yet struggle to throw a meaningful conversation from their side or just reply ‘hi’ ‘yes’ ‘lol’ ... or maybe it’s me !!

Maybe I should have said ‘Inability to hold a conversation’

Know what you mean, op. Only a few days ago we initiated a conversation from a couple who winked and messaged us but it's been hard work with the short replies. A few exchanges (3) and we were outta there, life's too short. Next!

100% agree OP.

It's hard enough as a single guy to get a conversation started with anyone. Then it's a question of why bother.

Its totally frustrating when you've taken the time to read the profile, tailor the message to them (as they have instructed at great pains in their profile) ... to then shut it down with monosylabic replies

I was ‘interviewed’ for a kik group a few weeks ago about cuckold/bulls. I was ‘interviewed’ by someone who communicated purely by text speak. Anything greater than two syllables was spelt incorrectly in a world that has autocorrect. It was painful and demeaning! So I said I was just curious and therefore probably not right for their group.

My spelling has much to be desired at the best of times, but that was a bit much!! Good luck to them, but at least if you wish to stand your high horse, show a little respect.

Probably means to chat with someone that’s not got cock in hand and horny.

When you make your deposit add another 'l' - monosyllabic

.

This is General Hysteria reporting from Pedantry Corner. Good night.
