I’m going home. I have got so much business to sort out. I could probably qualify as essential travel. I’m going to wait patiently for my second jab and see where that leaves me.
A cheeky trip to New York is on the cards recreation wise.
I plan on going to the Emirates to see out some of the winter as well.

If they lift the ban on 17th May and the USA is on the green list (and they reciprocate) then we might look to burn some air miles and shoot over to the states asap for a long weekend city break. Was thinking NY but depends how open for business they are. If not maybe Chicago, Boston, Miami, LA. |

"We've always fancied a weekend in Stoke. Is there much to do there?"
We once went to Stoke for the weekend but decided to home the first day. After enjoying Little Morton Hall, some pottery shops and an oatcake we couldn't find anything else to do. |

Judging by the bookings we've received so far, lots of people are planning 'staycations' again...
....for four months - from when we re-open in mid-May, up to mid-Sept - we've already got more nights booked than we had over the five months that we were allowed to be open last year...
....but we currently have virtually no bookings after mid-Sept - so possibly people are looking at going abroad in the autumn (there was a news story along those lines recently)... |

It's so confusing about what tests you will need if you go abroad. If there is no quarantine either end and I'm only going for a long weekend ( which is what I normally do) surely if they are saying a text taken within 72 hours of flight.. one test would suffice... |

Cornwall, Wales or Scotland.
I don't think it's quite what you meant, but our tourist industry has been really struggling and I think the first break I'll take I'd want to support that.
I do love our countryside and there is plenty of time to travel abroad later. |

Not surprising I guess.
I might just take a tent, a camp bed and a fire pit and sit under the stars.
Quite fancy getting back to nature a little after being locked up for so long tbh. |

Unfortunately, some are taking advantage of the high demand, and have hiked their prices...
....we haven't upped our room rates - perhaps that's why we're doing quite well with bookings! |

Not much in Stoke but there could be plenty to do in Stone
nb. Stone is only 6 miles south of Stoke. "
You might be upsetting the Stokies |

There is a hotel in Corfu that I’ve wanted to go to for a very long time but it’s far to expensive as a single traveler. A friend of mine has said she’ll come in July/Aug if Greece is on either the green or amber list. |

Holidays within the UK certainly become far more appealing when the weather is good. Brilliant timing that the sun came out in time for the bank
Holiday and half term. Hope all the families around the UK holidaying with their kids are enjoying some well needed vacation time |
