Had it done two weeks ago. It was a bit uncomfortable for a day or two but otherwise absolutely no problems. Avoid working out and be careful wanking for a few days. Otherwise, there is nothing to worry about. |

I had problems  
I Had to return to have it looked at. And the doctor calls a nurse because of the alone in the same room thing…. And the nurse is the most gorgeous girl…. I’ve never felt so sheepish. 
But after that no problems. I’m not an expert but we do worry about anything down there don’t we? |

Rest!!!! You will have loads of people tell you it’s no big deal, and for most it isn’t. But I did not rest properly and was ejaculating blood for weeks afterwards and in pain for a couple of years. Go easy. |

It was surprisingly pain free. As others have said, a bit uncomfortable but a day or so later I was fine. Took a while for the sperm to finally die off. |

Had no problems at all with mine,very light pain after and was fascinating watching it in the mirrored surface of the lighting. Was back in action two days later! |

I had mine done years ago and it is such a weight off the mind knowing there is no chance of contraception failure interfering with my retirement plans  in my experience it was pain free, the embarrassment of having nurses constantly wandering in and out of the room while my nether regions were far from at their finest was more painful |

I’ve been for a consultation. Am on waiting list but I’ve changed my mind. I didn’t get a good vibe from the doc even though he was nice enough… he said to shave the area. Might take up to 4 weeks to heal properly. I’m so squeamish I can’t watch hospital programmes. This procedure has me going mental |

when I had mine done it was easy... Doc talked me through it, jabbed the nuts to be worked on, Nurse chatted to me while he got on with the job.... a little tender after due to tugging around the undercarriage but tighter briefs and a couple of sore days and all was good, first wank was a little yellowish cum but after was back to normal...the post op test was all good and clear....but I'd been naughty before then with a FWB |

Yes you need to shave the area before the procedure. 4 weeks sounds like worst case scenario I was all back to normal in a week. It is honestly a very simple procedure. |

It's not as bad as you hear.
Most of the horror stories are from the old scalpel method (that I believe is still popular in America).
We pretty much only use the keyhole method now, which is much less painful.
It just felt like a dull ache for a few days.
Just read the leaflets they give you, and follow their instructions and you'll be fine |

Listen to what they tell you what you can do. I had mine and felt great, and went for a long walk, thought I was doing well, but the day after was agony, and ended up having a few days off, I was black and blue for over a fortnight! |

It's a very simple procedure that so many guys have.
In the swing scene, having a vasec done is not just the norm, but such a good idea... Unless you wish to up the population.
And it doesn't affect you in the long term |

Take painkillers with you and don’t be slow getting home being bounced in a car hurts!!! Then when you get home milk it for all its worth (priceless in my opinion) and don’t feel guilty for milking it’s payback time for all the times she said “oh had kids for you” lol. Oh and don’t be be hero slow and steady getting back to normal. |

I'm going to give you the it went wrong story OP.
All started ok, left side was easy. Right side my tube was tucked right away and was struggling to get hold of it, so much so the anaesthetic started to wear off while routing around in my ball bag, that hurt, a lot.
Next day my ball bag was the size of a coconut and infected, 3-4 days for it to go down, felt like someone was kicking me in the balls permanently.
I'm sure you'll be fine though OP

All went fine with mine, back at work an hour later, however in hindsight I would of booked the digger and dumper in on a different day...... Played first team rugby at the weekend, luckily I didn't get any bad hits, once got hit in the balls, physio came on, I just keeled over to a side and couldn't speak, spectators and team mates laughing. |

Pants..... and make sure you take the 7day rest period... 2 days after mine i was back to work and doing heavy manual work and fucked myself up and boy was i in pain! Only regret that was but best thing i did |

All about the underwear. I bought briefs, tighter than usual, to keep the boys safe and secure for the first 72 hours.
Back to normal after that although I kept one pair as a souvenir! |

There's not much to say really. I had it done a couple of years ago and I'm very pleased with the decision. The procedure wasn't pleasant but it was uneventful. I was back to work a couple of days later. |

It isn’t as bad as you build it up in your mind
Some discomfort afterwards and some aching but not real unbearable pain etc
Just follow the aftercare and you will recover quickly |

I was a little less fortunate than some of the other guys on here.
The first side was fine.. literally hardly felt a thing. However, on the second side the anaesthetic hadn’t worked and the doctor hadn’t checked that it had first so he made his incision without any numbing! I nearly hit the roof!
Anyway, after a few choice words, lots of calming down and many ml’s of anaesthetic, I was all done.
The amazing thing for me is that although I was uncomfortable for the rest of the day, I was fine after. Even with my little mishap. The worse part was bashing one out in a room in the local hospital a couple of months later to be honest! |

Haha mate I had fun with mine, two student nurses were there being shown how to do it over the docs shoulder, cute young things too, very surreal, chatting about if am going on holiday while the doc went to work on my balls haha, joking aside its over pretty quickly, not gona lie it hurt a pinch but was right as rain in a week or two. |

When I got snipped it was in a September, I was told to send my sample of for analysis in the following January - you are given a specific date - and the result finally came through mid March so 'technically' you can still possibly have to wait 6 months for the final all clear. |

I had no discomfort both during and after procedure. I was snipped on a Saturday and in a mosh pit at a gig on the following Monday.

Had mine done back in October.
Wasn’t too bad, the bruising that appeared a few days later was the worst.
Wore well supporting underwear for a few days to help and took it easy while it healed.
