You see a lot of the same people in the top pics as they either have a big following or drum up likes by letting people add them as friends etc.
No hate towards those who do it as it’s clearly their ‘thing’ |

In all honesty I think you have to get lucky at the end of the day.
I've seen a wide variety of pics getting top spot whether it's an old account which 1000s have hotlisted or an account that was set up few hours ago and a single pic just blew up! |

As others have said friends and hotlists. Then getting near the top will get them added to more hotlists and that’s why the same people are regularly there. |

You could always put a status up asking if you’re on anyones hotlist but your inbox will be flooded.
Being a regular on the forums will get you noticed more. The only other thing I can think of is being in a densely populated area like London. |

No there isn't but of the same people fab your pictures all the time you're probably on their hotlist  |

Sometimes ours get a load of likes and hit page 1 or 2... but we never put up statuses and only have a few people added as friends on here.
Not sure about the hotlist thing tho or how that works... |
