When I got my own place at 19 and used the local newsagents, I always judged the magazine by the cover and picked the one with the sexiest girl on the front. The lovely Asian woman who worked there always slipped the magazine inside a local paper for me, never charged me for the paper either lol |

I loved the special editions of Fiesta like the Readers Wives or Christmas editions. The Christmas ones have given me a lifetime’s love of sexy Mrs Santa outfits

Mine, Making, were Rendezvous and Forum regularly. Used to get Whitehouse et al but they always failed to live up to their promises!

Oh wow. The good old days of rat mags. I never see them in shops any more so I assumed they died out In the face of online porn.
Excort and Fiesta were my go to. Even as a young lad I preferred the real readers wives to models. Except Jo Guest. I would buy a mag with her on the cover. |

I did very well out of men's magazines. Writing and photography - it used to pay better than a lot of 'ordinary' magazine work. 'Researching' the stories was great fun too
Miniskirt modelled for some of them too, and had a monthly 'diary' in one of them - an 'adventures of' storyline with accompanying photos.
Sadly, it all dried up in the mid-Noughties though.

Oh they were happy days. I would buy one a week on a sunday. I would buy razzle, men only, Mens world. Then got into the big tit stuff big ones, gent and score. Did anyone else ever see the family of magazines Heat, 69, Sensual, and Special Contact? Published in the early/mid 1990's, containing a mixture of text stories and photo strip stories. I think all the photos were originally from French and Belgian magazines, the stories were either new written to go with the pics, or might have been translated from the originals.
There was some very hot stuff in those mags! |
