Our strategy (was Mr’s) is to go on socials or dates hungry. That way if it goes well you can progress to dinner, if not, you’re so hungry that you have no problem making excuses and leaving

Had to end a social meet after a quick drink.
Popped to the toilet to phone a friend and asked them to phone me back in 5 minutes as the man I’d met didn’t look anything like his photos and was actually drooling when I sat down with him |
