So please tell me it’s not just me that hates the one word response!!!
I understand it if the receiver is just being polite and respectful by replying.
But when you asked if they are interested in getting to know each other and they reply (okay)
Then you initiate a conversation and you still get the no effort one word response from them.
It really annoys me just say no and I will leave you alone |

I've experienced this numerous times - whether just one-word replies, or, at best, three or four, such responses are usually very quick indicators that the 'message' exchange is a road to nowhere...  |

We go a little further. if we can read the entirety of the message without opening it, it gets binned.
I’d like to think I’m worth the effort of a sentence or two; I do the same for people we message. |

Yes totally agree with this , to me it shows very little interest and almost pointless in them even replying , can be very frustrating and often makes me wonder if they are even going to be genuine, it does seem to lately be quite hard getting much response from a lot of people and more messages that don’t even ever get read .
