What sound? The sound of screaming? Nurses discussing dilation or what?
There's no actual sound. Just commotion and shouting

Is it the sound similar to water going down the plughole, slightly slurrpy, a bit like slwallalup. Or is it the groan and grunting and heavy breathing which would be closer to a woman reaching a climax.
Or is the phrase a woman shouts at her husband "I'm going to fucking kill you" while she's struggling to give birth. |
