Shouldn't we just name and shame them?

Next Door

It's against site rules to name and shame.

Report the profile instead

OP, as the poster above said, it's against forum rules. It would be way too open for abuse. I could, for example, just say that you and me arranged to meet and you never turned up- even though you and me, we never interacted in any way.

Also, what you may see as "time wasting", others may not and vice versa.

Well I have taken the advice and reported the profile.

We all know that real life can get in the way of sexual pleasure but cancelling an arrangement less than an hour before meeting every single time, six in total, is too much of a coincidence.

Wouldn't you agree?

Very much so, but they would not get to 6 chances with me anyway. 3 max, but only if the reason seemed very genuine.

I'd normally take the same approach. Three strikes and you're out.

But being a softie at heart I was persuaded to give them another chance.

Enough though is enough.

Don't worry, we've all been there. Good luck, OP.

More fool you for giving them more than 2 chances

Arguably yes. But I do give people the benefit of the doubt as I am aware how real life can interfere.

Although personally, in all my years of playing, I've only let someone down once when I got stuck on the M6 for two hours due to an accident.

What can admin do about someone who actually lets you know they're not going to turn up?

Our most memorable cancellation( we cancelled in the eleventh hour) was the lovely handsome chap turned out to be an absolute ass. We had weeks of flirting and sexy talk on Kik. He came across as such a gent, pressing all the right buttons. We booked a daytime hotel at the Ibis in Sheffield, lingerie sorted and outfit chosen. Hubby was even going to give me a couple alone with him, before he joined us.

Now what he did the day before, just left us speechless.

He sent us a video of him shoving his fingers into an orange, piercing the skin and violently fingering it, saying this is how he’s going to touch me..weirdo! Safe to say he was blocked instantly

There's a huge difference between someone who politely says they can't make it, usually with good notice, and someone who has, six times, said they're now not available less than an hour before the meet.

Yes, I fully accept real life gets in the way sometimes but no one can be that unreliable and be genuine.

Admit have been told the details and will no doubt make a judgement.

No op, it would be far too open to abuse.

Just block and report them.

I'd only class a time waster as someone who arranged a meet and then didn't show or message to say they couldn't make it. Or those who aren't who they're claiming to be.
