Did he think I was meeting someone else...

The other week I had a 2nd meet with someone and I paid for a cheap hotel room.
My thinking was it was a Sunday night, he had work in the morning so he could shoot off and I could make my way home without him messing around taking me early am.
But he asked me in the morning what I was doing and I said well I don't have to leave until 12 so I'll have a shower and a coffee then head home. He was acting a bit off, and kept saying have fun.. have fun then left without a shower or anything and never messaged again.
I just thought did he think I was going to have another bloke in there?? Tbh I was just enjoying a couple of hours peace, coffee hot shower then head home to the madness of family life. |

Does it matter what he thinks?
Let him think what he wants to think, and let you react in a way that brings you fun and joy. We can’t control the thoughts and actions of others. Only our own.
So enjoy the room, get another over if you would like more, or coffee and chill. Life is waaaaay too short to worry what others are thinking about as we’ll never know anyway. |

This sounds like another instalment in the story of ‘people not using their words’! He was clearly thinking and feeling something and chose to get bothered by whatever it was.

I did, it was only a cheap room but to have a couple of hours just to myself and be me, a nice hot shower and peace. Was lovely |

Sounds to me like he was having trouble separating the sex from the hanging out afterwards. He sounds a bit awkward about it, perhaps outside his comfort zone. Anyway, dont worry - not your problem ultimately! |
