How much impact does a username have?

Just browsing the site and realised that for us, any username that has dom or bull in it is pretty much an instant no for us. Are there similar usernames that will make you think twice, either in a good way or bad way? |

As they say, first impressions count. Yours for example implies a no pressure environment that would be friendly, open and enjoyable for whichever single man was lucky enough to receive an invite xx |

It's significant for us.
References to dom, bull, rough, fucker etc will turn us away.
So too will names that refer to length or girth.
Any usernames that look like they've been generated randomly as well. A little bit of thought helps show you've got a little bit about you. |

When we see stupid name like pussysmasher, rough ride and king dick but to name a few, we have to laugh.
They are the kind of names we would associate with immature and silly guys.

I changed my username a while ago as I found there were so many profiles saying I WONT do this and I DONT do that. Lighten up people! This is supposed to be fun and hopefully my name attracts those that have the same happy sexy outlook on life! |

It counts for a fair bit and some make the owner look really immature.
Any that say alpha, or are 50 shades references, I ignore.
Same with daddy and those that gross me out like big full balls etc. |

Ya some usernames are off putting. It makes me wonder what was going through their minds when choosing.
I was after watching the Elton John biopic when I choose mine. Not sure if it was the best choice but I'm owning it. |

I think s lot of people fairly clueless when they join up. They probably think their username will get the opposite of what it really does.

Yeah it can have an impact. Wouldn't necessarily mean it's an instant delete scenario but some names will definitely create a negative first impression which will need to be tackled.

We find a username usually hints at their level of imagination and literacy. They are both important attributes to us on here and a crass username usually seals their fate if the rest of the profile or their message doesn’t engage.
Our bar is unashamedly high online. In a club or at a party it’s just about attraction. We are so shallow! |

Everyone is different and looking for different things.
Anyone with 420 in their username would put us off completely. It may however sound ideal to others.
A good username that reflects who you are can help others make an informed choice early on. |
