I had to remove mine, were about 8yrs healed and regularly changed jewellery with no issues...but I couldn't get bars back in, partly due to feeling tender and sore, partly my head was having a worry wobble so gave up.
Had to get re pierced x |

I've x-rayed a few in a previous life.
Yeah, piercings should technically be removed before the procedure.
There are issues of 'scatter' and the differences between tungsten and molybdenum anodes (used in breast units) and it affecting the image quality. |
