Can someone tell me if there is a reason why people have the generic black silhouette on their profile rather than choosing a photo?
I assume its laziness or lack of creativity... but maybe there is a technical issue I'm missing? |

I think it's just because they don't want to show any photos. They might not be meeting or just here to keep in touch with friends.
It's not mandatory to show photos and you can filter those profiles out |

Thanks for the reply. But you can upload any photo cant you? So it could be obscure or arty? I think its another way to showcase your personality so cant see why you wouldnt. |

You can upload any photo withing the photo rules or none ...

Because you have to actually be in the photo and some people dont want to post public pics of themselves. A lot of these dont have public pics on their profile either.
However I do wonder about those who have loads of public photos showing but no profile pic. |

Because you have to actually be in the photo and some people dont want to post public pics of themselves. A lot of these dont have public pics on their profile either.

Or probably because half the women and couple profiles on here are actually men who get off on stringing people along for some sad reason.
Personally we won’t engage with a profile that isn’t verified by at least a few people and must be a site supporter & also be photo verified.
By doing this it generally saves us a lot of time and effort ing out the fakes. |
