Hi all. The Welsh mob may be paying Chameleons at Darlaston a visit at some point, and we would like some advice/help please.
The plan is to travel up, and either make a day of it and come home late evening, or stay over.
With this in mind, we have a couple of questions we are hoping you lot can answer.
If we just made a day of it, which day (weekend) is best? We would hope to be there all day, so do they do food, or can we pop out for a bite, and then pop back in?
Next, if we did decide to travel up a little later, and stay overnight, whats the best hotel / B&B nearby, and costs?
We know of the B&B run by Jed and Sascha, but no idea of number of rooms and cost, so any help would be welcome on that, but there may be a few of us (14-18) so we may need an hotel nearby.
Many thanks in advance for any help.

oh and friday night is best probaly as clubs busy
plus most folk have the weekend off
chams do what can be described as cafe food
all under a fiver
toasties
lamb shank n rice/chips
curry n rice/chips
rolls
choccie bars
crisps
none is remotely overpriced
plus you can take your own booze, jus dont get hammered on the premises or you will be asked to not return

Great, thanks for that.
Think it might still be either sat or sun daytime, given that most work the week, and many find it easier to get sitters for a daytime, rather than overnight.
Is there parking near / next to the club, we may be coming in a minibus? |

I know jed has moved to wales so dont know if he still has his bed and breakfast. Chams has 5 rooms and the glass house. There is also a travel lodge a mile or so away that only cost about £5 in a taxi |

They have their own car park which is patrolled by security so feels very safe. If club is busy there is an overflow P and D carpark within reach of ladies wearing heels! |

not sure how many the glass house have. Ibut if there is a large group going and you just really want a room with shower travelodge is only down the road then you can all stay together. Also depends when you want to go as chams is generally full. Right opposite travellodge theres places to eat |

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
I`ve used the rooms at Chams itself a couple of times now. Clean and adequate, no need for taxis to and from the club, secure parking in their garage which you SHOULD be able to get your minibus into (sure I`ve seen a Transit van in there). When you`ve had enough of the club, see the girls behind the bar and they`ll let you through the back of the club so you don`t even have to go outside to get back to your room! |

Forgot to say, they`re listed on Cham`s site under the Skylight Hotel. You will need to pay for them in advance though. |
