Beach is only ok, after dusk you will be eaten alive by mosquitos,

Sandwich bay beach is much better

lol it's not a beach for making sandcastles. It has lots of sharp shells on too

I remember the beach as being more mud than sand. When the tide was out, we used to go cockling but sank up to our knees in mud on the way back.

we still go to the nudist beach there occasionally we don't go in the water we stay in the dunes , its ok for nude bathing to help the all over tan and we play occasionally too.

I like that Chalet most were old prefabs that cost £200 each back in 1963 if you took them down yourself.

At Leysdown Holiday Camp, which I presume is no longer there, one of the highlights was a leisurely walk along the coast line and up the hill to Warden, where we stopped for a drink and a good old sing-song. Not sure which pub though.

OMG i used to go to those chuch things when we stayed there (D). My uncle had a chalet and we went every summer for about 5 years

the nude beach right at the end of the road past leysdown is an official nude beach, lots of nude bathers on a nice day and some action as well, so worth a visit just to get naked outside, you can park directly behind the beach too
