I understand that. Just was unsure. Safe sex and all that. From the givers perspective too, is it uncommon for someone to insist on one before giving a bj. |

It's not unheard of but it's not usual.
But, as always, you choose what is right for you and if that's how you feel don't let anyone pressure or bully you. |

As has been said, it is completely up to you. I personally insist on it unless we meet with someone regularly. Some men don't like that and so we don't meet with them. Other men have said that it's fine or that they insist on it as well. In the end we do what we feel comfortable with and meet with those who are comfortable with it too

Fairly uncommon, I used to insist an nobody ever objected. The precautions you take are entirely up to you and you should do what you and your partners are comfortable with.
