So it seems there are quite a few (myself included) on both these sites... How many are actually on the former to find the love of our lives or is it used to just hook up??? |

Pof is great for hook ups to meet singles I don't think I have ever been past one drink before going back to a girls house lol
Am on here to meet more open mined people for all the stuff that requires more than two people
I think that's the difference in my opinion |

I originally joined pof looking for a relationship with a like minded person. Even listed bdsm in my interests lol.
Soon found out it's not the place to find a relationship. I prefer fab but have had lots of guys tell me they have more luck on pof than they do on fab |

I was on POF as well as a number of dating sites. But was propositioned quite a lot just for sex. Then I found FAB, thought I like sex and actually I am quite happy being single. So closed the POF one down.
I did go on POF looking for a relationship. But like so many free dating sites found it just was a waste of time. Too many aren't actually looking to date at all. |

Pof is better for meeting singles
On here couples and single women get so many messages per day they can't rread them all & I know this because I was part of a couple for a couple of years

I'm also on pof but not logged in since I joined this site! At least on here you know what you're getting, on pof most of the guys would be all 'yeah yeah I'm looking for more than sex, want to find someone nice blah blah' which i was at the time! Then the messages would change and they would be messaging at midnight saying 'shall I come round we can have fun'! |

I'm on both, as well as Tinder as well.
I use pof for dating. Though if it's established in the beginning that a fuck is all it is then I'm okay with that. I want to find a boyfriend so I thought I'd try every option  |

I'm on pof ...recently reactivated my account, I go through phases where I look for something I've yet to find on fab. .. as yet I've not found it on pof either.

PoF is very similar to here in many respects.
Many don't know what they want.
Many use it just for sex.
Many lie.
Women get bombarded.
It's free unless you want to use the upgraded features. |

I had a profile on POF a few years back and had a number of "successful" meets, including my current partner. She introduced me to Fab and we've had 1 play meet and a couple of socials - personally, I definitely 'got more' on POF rather than FAB. I've now got a single profile on FAB and I just use it to send messages to women who are too arrogant (sorry, busy!) to even reply. |

See Fab is for me to indulge and enjoy some fantasies and POF was to find someone i could be with not just for sex but tbh most of the time all i got was messages from guys I had blocked on here saying 'wanna fuck I know your a slut on fab'

Not necessarily, but it does make me smile when people have filters on their pof profiles 'must not be looking for intimate encounters', 'must not have messaged others looking for sex,' yet their fab profiles list numerous recent verifications from meets |

Somewhere in between would suit me. I enjoy fab inc parties and group sex. But it would be nice to have someone for casual dating as well, meals and evenings out, but who is ok with the swinging thing. But I think I'm asking too much  so I'll carry on fabbing for now  |
