webcam on msn

hi can anyone offer advice on how to cam on msn. when i hightlightg messenger these otions appear

contacts

profile add

friends

but nowhere does it seem to recognise i have a cam attached. there doesnt seem any window in which the cam image could appear

could i have the wrong version of messenger

The cam icon on MSN messenger is just to the left of your profile picture, when you're messaging someone. If you click on it, it will start the cam.

If you've hidden pictures, click the little triangle on the left hand side, halfway down your message box.

Get Yahoo or even better Skype , msn is always shoddy and plagued with viruses

sounds like you have the new msn, it downloads with your security updates.

i hated it and uninstalled it have now gone back to the old one

are you on msn live messenger or msn messenger?

live messenger is better we believe

If your on msn,

go to tools/options/and check the show webcam box

that is if you want others to see you have a webcam
