To us it means No Strings Atached we put it in a message when we invite couples to ours for first meets and hope that they read it as we are not going to hold you to any thing.EG we are not exspecting you to play there and then if you want more time to think. Hope this makes sence have read couple times not sure lol |

Makes perfect sense but I would class that as having a meeting 'without obligation'. It just shows that people seem to have very different meanings when they say no strings. |

Definitely depends on the context it's used. We'd agree if it were a 'no strings' meet we'd think it was a meet socially then see how it goes. Obviously if you were talking in the context of play, we'd say NSA meant sex, probably without the possibility of a repeat performance.. |

For me it means we meet, play and then go our merry way. If you call to meet again and the other person is busy you so "no problem, let me know if you'd like to meet again" and you go about your business, no sulking or stalking! |

Wanting the odd text or call between meets is a string of sorts in my book... it's an expectation of something beyond/in addition to sex. I am not saying that is a bad thing... just that any form of friendship is a string of sorts as friendships involve degrees of obligation. |

I couldn't have put this any better. I also want to make clear that it's not a bad thing, but for some there does seem to be an expectation of some degree of 'friendship' or further involvement if the sex was good. This is a string, for some the 'innocent texts and calls can be too much. Again I'm not saying it's wrong in any way, but is it NSA? |

I agree with Polo too. I dont ever have anyones mobile number anyway. Chris does on occasions, but thats only for emergencies - if we are meeting someone in say Leeds and we might get lost, so we can text for directions, that kind of thing. We dont text to say hi to each other.
After a meet we will stay friends on fab, occasionally messaging, not regularly, but thats about it, I dont want any other contact than that |

We arrange a meet, we meet, play, they go home and don't hear from each other until another meet is planned.
No one has our normal mobile numbers and can only get in touch on a play phone and so far we have picked right, as we get no one harrasing us as they think the same as us.
