Gd morning everyone,as you can see we are new,now we have our first meet coming up in a couple of weeks but my wife is nervous around it but curious and excited at the same time,is this normal or is it just us?

It would be nice to here from anyone in the same situation

Many thanks

Perfectly normal! I'd be concerned if I didn't get those feelings.

Have a great time!

Nervous excitement every time I meet someone!

They're feeling the same. Project confidence if you're not and it puts them at ease which in turn helps conversation flow!

Or just get d*unk.

Perfectly normal! I feel that way with every new meet, sometimes with those I have met more than once.

All part of the experience!

I get butterflies every time I meet anyone new, despite having met 50+ people. Its part of the build up and excitement and its perfectly normal.

I had nerves for a social meet at the weekend. I had a jd and at 2pm to give me Dutch courage. It's very rare I'm nervous meeting anyone.

As others have said, perfectly normal. And I think a bit of nervous excitement and adrenaline can add to the buzz as long as it doesn't consume you and turn you into a wreck.

The thing is the other party is likely to be feeling exactly the same and it's worth remembering that, the minute there's no excitement / adrenaline is the moment to stop, surely?

Nerves are fine, and expected. They're just the excited little butterflies waiting to transform into horny little devils

We had same feeling for our first social meet, just go with the flow and take it like meeting your friend.

if you didn't have nerves you wouldn't be the least be excited by the prospect of meeting. Hope they show up, that's a long time to wait.
