Dont you just hate it when a couple rants at you all coz you asked for face picture's before arranging a meet is that just us or other people on this site ask for face pictures before a meet?we also got attacked because we aint photo verified or silver or gold member didnt think you had to be photo verified or a silver or gold member????

You have your way of arranging meets. If it doesn't suit some I personally would not be playing email ping pong with them and arguing the toss, I'd just keep looking for people on the same wavelength and leave them to it!

I always insist on a face pic, within the first couple of messages, as I will not meet anyone I am not attracted to or spend pointless time chatting if we're not going to meet and no you do not have to be photo verified or have site supporters

We are quite happy to exchange facial pictures before a meet. I (Lynne) get annoyed when people send you random friend invites so they can see your pics but when you look they have none on their profile at all, private or open. That angers some that we won't just accept the invite they send, but it works for us, and we're not changing for the odd few

cant say ive ever had that problem, i dont ask for pics i ask them to stick cam on so i know what they really look like, never had anyone moan at me for asking to see them, if you want to meet you have to show yourself, simple as

I think this is a case of not what people say, but how they say it.

We always want to see a face pic before a meet, but we would never slag anybody off about it, just make a polite request. Manners cost nothing, according to my mother.

I have always struggled with why some peeps get the raving hump about showing their face pics....and actually believe that anyone would want to meet them on some wierd ass "blind date"...always suspected theses peeps are just plain fugly...and know that as soon as they reveal the horror of their gruesome face pics...their prospective victim will run off screaming..probably based on previous experiences of "scream and BLOCK" they have encountered..

had something like that happen to me recently . The couple insisted that I look at their verifications and that would be enough.I stupidly let it slide lol and when they showed up I was like OMG

. . Long story short I used my get out of jail card and got them out fast. To each is own but I wont be doing that again .

Plus I honestly think some people just say what you want to hear on verifications so not to seem horrible but as I said to each his own

If you don't get to see what someone looks like before a meeting, we wouldn't meet!

You could be travelling a fair distance to see somebody, 100 miles or more, you get there and realise they aren't for you. What do you do? say goodbye and leave?

Anyone who is not wanting to show faces before a meeting is not worth meeting in the 1st place. Maybe its because you are relatively new and they think you are just picture collectors? Once you have verifications etc on your profile people will open up more.

I would never meet anyone without seeing face pics, or preferably a face cam, first.

As for photo-verified/Site Supporter status, I guess people can use that in defining who they want to meet, if that's really important to them (we all have our odd little ways LOL). But likewise, you have a right to choose NOT to be photo-verified/Site Supporter.

Looks like you were lucky that you didn't meet this couple, and fortunately there are lots of other nice couples on this site

Best thing is to highlight on your profile "NO FACE PIC-NO MEET!".

Then they either comply or pass you by....sorted.

Yeah that what we said in polite way sorry dont meet unless we see face picture's that when we got rude message and because we not been photo verified or become one of the silver and gold members which we dont have to be we got ver's on our profile not shown them all as we just met had a 2 minute chat in a club so didnt see the point but 1 club member as verified us aswell which is up and a meet of this site which is up aswell plus if they give me chance we send our pic's by attaching them to the message as we dont want them in our gallery or on show we know lot of people who do this aswell

The reason is cos im too worried you might know me through work, or save my pic to ur computer (dont know if thats even possible?) What i do, do is meet in a pub or cafe first, so the 'get out' is possible before expecting the fun to start. Yes call me paranoid!!!

ps. apparently i dont look like the back end of a bus (so ive been told lol)

We do this too. If anyone does get stroppy they are more than likely a pic collector or a fake so don't worry about it just push that button.

So what if someone from work did turn up, as long as you fancied them.

You'd both be on here for the same thing so just look upon it as checkmate.

We went to LaChambre with a guy from my work and his wife,that was years ago and we're now the best of friends.

No offence but yes, you do sound paranoid.
