I had been banging on to the wife for ages about arranging one and she finally agreed but on the way to the hotel she was still full of reservations and saying we should turn back. My first meet. Not sure I can remember, it was that long ago !
It was a social with a guy few years older than me. We went for a drink. First impression was his old man anorak. He looked like a trainspotter. As we chatted , he was great fun company and we hit it off. 6 years later we are still in touch with occasional play meets. |

My first meet on fab when I came back 2 yrs ago was with a fella a fab friend had recommended so I knew he was genuine do instead of my usual social first rule I went straight to his house! the drive over was amazing my heart was beating so fast with nerves but good nerves! Anyway I turned up and always a bit awkward but after 10 mins the conversation started to flow them 5 hours later I left with a big smile on my face and the drive home was a bit uncomfortable as I'd well and truly...had a good time haha good luck and enjoy!
