Following on from the Bareback thread...

What is the best condom out there for sensitivity then?? What do we all use..

The ones we use vary.. we tend to stick to brand.. Durex but is there something better??

As stated before the durex latex ones are rubbish and we avoid where poss but we do know one couple who are allergic to normal..

Lots of niche brands so maybe a good way to get people using even more lol...

We've used Durex Avanti, the polyurethane condom because one person we have played with turned out to be allergic to latex......

But the best ones for us? The Durex ones that heat up on contact!

Cool.............

Whats the name of those self heating ones then... can see good use for those lol.. Like we say we like to keep a variety lol... Thse days you never know if they are hungry (Flavoured) allergic (Been there done that rather have a wa**) need more stimulation.. (Ribbed) or just horny and need normal lol....

i think the Avanti ones are best too, im not sure if i have a allergy to laytex but they do make me very sore if i used them for to long, have to admit i have been using them for a while and i have never had one split on me, maybe you just got a bad batch? may be worth trying another box to make sure lol

They are called 'Durex Warming Pleasure' condoms. Or you can get their 'Play Heat Lube' which is much the same if you are just getting it on together and playing bareback.

I love those heated condoms.......make me go all tingly

I don't bother with anything fancy to be honest.

An old bicycle inner tube with a knot in the end, a spot of WD40 for lube and away ya go ..

I'm very old fashioned when it comes to condoms, I tend to stick to the old tried and tested 15th Century method of warmed pig gut, wrapped around my erect member and tied at the base with willow twine, then lubricated with goose fat

I don't get many meets funnily enough

She likes men to use durex pleasuremax (shaped and ribbed) and he's now using magnum which fit his girth better than most. We take both to clubs and have them by the bed when playing at home.

Tip for men - avoid anything by mates unless you have a tiny cock!

The reason non-latex condoms (not just Avanti, I've tried most of what's available and found the same problem) split is that the material they're made from doesn't stretch like latex, so they're a lot easier to damage putting on, and anyone with a particularly thick knob is likely to find them unusable (though femidoms are latex-free, and should be large enough for anyone, no matter how well hung they are).

The best I've tried so far are Condomi XXL, having gone through most of the easily available brands in the UK. The worst I've ever tried were Durex 'Deep Heat' (I don't know the real name, but that's what they smelt like, and the sensation they produced wasn't that far off either ).

Durex Extra Safe for us.We once read an article on condom production. It said that the Ribbed condoms are not a standard condom with the Ribs,Spirals Dots or whatever added on.The designs are pressed into a standard thickness condom, which means that the raised areas remain standard thickness but causes the areas between to be much thinner and therefore weaker.Let the buyer beware,as the saying goes.

I was in a petrol station toilet the other day and it had novely condoms in there, never seen them before. Had all sorts of wierd shapes on the end.... on the front of the machine it said 'does not provide protection' whats the point in that?

Has anyone ever tried Trojan - twisted pleasure before? They have a twisted type ribbed thing that makes you feel like your cock is doing a corkscrew motion, very odd, but quite fun! Feels the same for the female obviously...

Have to say i cant really tell the difference lol, although i have condoms here i usually ask the guys to bring them as mine are for back up purposes, mostly normal durex. Have been using those durex nobbly ribbed ones recently.

Always makes me laugh when someone states that being allergic to condoms is there reason for doing bareback. There are that many kinds on the market these days. If you want to play bareback fine but dont try and justify it with silly reasonsxxkarenx

We use Durex Avanti and have had two split when putting them on but none whilst having fun using them. They are a bit tight and dont seem to roll down the shaft as far as other Durex makes.N says more sensitive than others.

Think there is a difference between true latex allergy and the sorenes that some ladies get after using a latex made condom.Certainly the soreness with the latex ones seems not un common?

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

Inspiral 2. They are latex but they are good for bigger guys.

I personally cant tell any difference between ribbed, knobbled or pink with yellow dots, so as long as they serve the purpose and feel ok for him, then thats good enough for me.

Any ideas on any that actually give the most sensitivity, most sensation etc. for the guys? Or is there not much to choose between them?

Spiral sound interesting, but bearing in mind what Trace and Ric said about comparative safety due to thin-ness.

Any ideas on this? J is looking for something ultra stimulating.

From a purely safety angle, I stick to an Action Man Deep Sea Divers helmet or the top of a Mum de-odourant roll-on.

I swear by Inspiral Condoms (About £10 for 12 in Boots) They are shaped like a Mr Whippy ice cream and are great.

Both the Durex Warming ones and Avanti have a tendancy to split.

The warming ones (and the lube too) bring a whole new meaning to The Kings of Leon track Sex onFire!! lol

I find the fingers of washing up gloves do the trick.Plus they're reusable and can be cut to length. Also the nodules that stop the plates slipping add a bit of extra stimulation. They can also be prevented from slipping off with the use of a hose clip, just have to go carefuly with the screwdriver though.

When we use them we like these "Pasante" flavoured ones, as they are a bit of fun and a purple or green sheathed cock looks kinda funny lol.

Also after using 3 or 4 on one night the blend of flavours gets very interesting.....

But truthfully are there *any* brands at all that are not (for the guy at least) the equivalent of looking at a breathtaking view on a foggy morning?

Well we started using them between ourselves in '95 when Trace started competing in body building and came off the pill.(Too many female hormones are counter productive in that game, make you hold water etc).We just continued using them when she retired because she didn't want to use the pill.So its second nature for us,it feels the same as far as we're concerned.Plus no one gets to sleep on the wet patch, lol.

But does everyone put them on correctly?...whether its washing up gloves or tescos bags lol

We had a sexual health team at uni a few weeks ago and they wanted people to put a condom on a dildo wearing a pair of glasses that make you feel d*unk!

I managed it ok but they drew the line at letting me try to put it on with my mouth!

Well from a blokes point you need a selection... Start with the ones that give YOU least sensitivity but max for the lady so you last longer. then later move on to the more sensitive ones for YOU so you can feel more and repeat the performance

I'm slowly going off Durex - finding fewer and fewer varieties to suit the mood, however, "MoodKillas" (google it) I found to be surprisingly interesting

But for me, its got to be "Pasante" - pretty much the entire variety range (which I enjoy mixing up) - I keep a "sweetbowl" by the bed I can dip my hand into even half asleep as needed. and if the unexpected/unwanted guest calls, a quick handful of quality street chocolates makes it look like a genuine sweet bowl without a second glance
