anybody else having no success?

i've been on the site 8 months and sent hundreds of messages and had virtualy sod all success.anybody else finding there messages are unread,deleted,or replyed with a no? or a bit of interest which then turns into nothing? or you go to have a meet (which i finally got)and then nobody turns up and the phone calls remained unanswered? im sure theres a lot of successful meets on here.cant seem to find any myself. |

You may want to try update your profile telling us about yourself, not just what you want!
Also a nice smiley face pic would be better, you look thoroughly miserable in the pictures on there now! Good luck |

OP: your thread is ten times longer than your profile!

Fully agree with all the advice above. You're a good looking guy so some smiley pics will definitely help plus you can accomodate which goes in your favour. Expand your profile a bit more. there are a lot of single guys on here so you need to make your profile stand out from the others. Good luck! |

fab swingers as far as i am aware haven't started charging by the word on profiles quite yet.... so why not start using some...
put yourself in the position of the people you are trying to attract... then ask yourself this:
"how would they know they were the person for me?...."
the answer is at the moment... They wouldn't!!

Hmmm. . .i havent had much sucsess on here either, maybe due to the location im in, cambridgeshire, the big citys like birmingham seem to have more willing ppl on there. .oh well guess i gotta keep trying! -_- |

Great profile pics The text on the profile could do with some amending and lose the rant at the bottom as it's off putting even though it's probably true! Also, I don't think many women like being referred to as "chicks" but that might just be me being old fashioned lol. Good luck on here. |

Maybe a mad crazy big grinning picture may help towards living up to your profile name, and some god damn details would help too. |

I agree with Chezzy. I live in King's Lynn and see the same faces on here everytime i come on. There are a hell of a lot of timewasters here though. Chin up. If you get a meet you get a meet. If you don't, don't lose any sleep over it |

I have to agree with the comments about you looking a bit 'glum'.
I wouldn't be expecting a 'fun' meet if we were going to spend some time with you... I'd be tempted to lie you down on the couch and ask you to tell me your woes!

Its not all about pics, i send pics out with my messages as i'm sure lots of other guys do... People are a long way up themselves and cant even be bothered to give a short reply to very nice messages that are sent to them.....

Junk mail is a totally differant thing to what i'm talking about, i'm talking about people putting together a nice polite message to others, not just a couple of words that say dou you want a fuck, so if someone has put together a polite message its only polite to give a short reply to them, it costs nothing .......... |

But someone has taken the time to put together those well thought out leaflets that come through your door, or money into training those annoying people who ring you up just as you are getting down to the final stroke, so why do you not politely answer them???

When I was meeting my profile was very specific regarding the type of man I was looking for. I even had I wouldn't respond to anyone outwith my criteria. It didn't stop them writing...and I didn't answer.
If someone met my criteria, had written a nice message but I didn't want to meet for whatever reason, then I'd write back! |

But there are some really short profiles with no clues as to likes and dislikes so the only way of finding out is to write a good message. So when thats done its good manners to give a reply |

No one is being bad mannered or discurtious for not replying to unsolicited mail.
Why don't all you guys write and reply to each other?

Every day we get these threads, and every day we see loads of advice given out, but it seems that not many guys take a blind bit of notice.  |

1300 messages in 2 weeks, if you received that many would you reply with said,good manners?

from a womans prospective ive looked at your profile and have to ask what would make you stick out from the thousands of other guys on here ?? be serious ..if i got ten single guys mesage me today why would i mail you back over the others or mail you at all ?? if youve put zero effort in on your profile then why should i spend any time or effort messaging you back??the guys ill replie to are the ones that grab my interest .so as people have said use your profile to stand out from the herd and entice people |

As said above, the sheer volume of messages that single ladies receive on here makes it almost impossible to reply to every message and when you do you reply with a polite "thanks but no thanks" it often results in replies trying to negotiate with you, persuade you that a 200 mile round trip with a random stranger is a good use of my time or abuse for having had the nerve to reject them. |
