Ok, first off I'm all for safe sex. Both sides should be protected. Of course not talking about your own partner here....
Anyway, issue I have is that when I put a condom on,I loose sensation and then...... Well he flops! even when the lady is really very pretty.
Any suggestions? I.e. Brand suggestion of condoms perhaps?

It's probably psychological.
Because it has happened before you expect it t happen again.
See if you can get some freebies from your local clinic and practice at home until you are comfortable with them.

Pretty much 25 years bareback doesn't prepare you for condoms and lately I have had the same issues. Make sure you have a good fit as too tight can be a killer. It is unsexy and kinda ridiculous as a process, but then, so is sex when you think about it. I think a lot of people are influenced by film (and possibly porn) to think that sex has to be super serious. It usually isn't. |

Firstly you are not alone. Advocate Skyns brand as never had a guy complain when I've turned up with them they come in different sizes and don't smell manky like Durex do. Also practice does make perfect so crack out a few. Some guys like to put them on themselves but I like to do it as part of play and this never fails. What pisses me off is there have been huge advancements in condom technology over the years, and I keep hearing about new wonder types that totally imitate skin being developed but they never seem to hit the high street?!.
There's a couple of websites meant to be providing the latest technology condoms but they're still not selling them yet?!... Crossed fingers that within a couple of years they will.

I've never understood this complaint, as it's never happened to me. Definitely psychological. As long as you're still being stimulated (by hand, mouth or pussy, or even visually), you should be fine. |

I use Skins (with an'i', different brand) in extra large with some friends. Much better fit than Durex, condom packet MUCH easier to open (Durex are impossible to open) and they smell of vanilla! It's like having sex with cookies. Available from Amazon (other websites are available). |

I'll try the skyns condom and see how I fair. Noted that using the clubs supplied Tesco range was probably not helping and also durex do smell and are hard to open.

There are two types some are double rings one around the balls and the other around Base of cock. You have to put it on before erection. I'm not keen on this type for that reason you asked how do you remove them if you don't go soft.
The other type is just one ring at the Base of the cock. You may have to try different sizes to begin with. If it's too loose it simply doesn't work. If too tight they get very uncomfortable after 20/30 mins so size is important.
