Facial hair on women

Jump to: Newest in thread

Just curious is facial hair on a woman a good look?? Only reason I asked is I met a woman a while back who had a super hot body pretty much perfect, I did ask for a face pic before I met her and she sent a very grainy picture of herself, It was only when we actually met that I realised why she hadn't sent me descent pic!! She had quite alot of dark downy hairs on her upper lip!! Obviously in a situation where you don't want to offend I continued on in to the bedroom!! Trying my best to avoid eye contact and trying not to kiss. I found that her lip wasn't the only thing that was hairy!! She had a 1970's throw back afro bush down below. At this point my penis just wasn't having it and little Mr Digby went floppy . I had to make my excuses shortly after and leave I felt bad about the whole thing. But the strange thing is she still wants to meet up again. Has anyone else had any similar experiences???

I used to have facial hair. Yeah yeah. I know

So much happier now I've had it lasered off.

It's one of those things I imagine she's struggled with and has chosen to just accept.

I have quite a lot of dark hair on my face and elsewhere.

If you don't want to meet women with pubic or facial hair you should make it clear on your profile.

A man has yet to run off screaming when presented with my naked (hairy) form.

And it's not just because i tie their legs together beforehand.

It's interesting to me (and this an observation and not intended to be in any way argumentative) that there was a recent thread bemoaning the fact that women alter their looks. One contributor explained how he disliked make up and preferred the natural woman underneath.

So what is it that men do want? The natural woman or their version of what a natural woman looks like?

I'm well aware that women put just as much pressure on other women to present a sanitised hair free version of womanhood too though.

I have lots of very blonde, fine baby hairs on my chin and neck, but I'll never wax them, purely because they'll come back darker and thicker.

The moral of the story here is to probably have a social first.

There are many ways a woman can combat unwanted hair (IPL,laser, waxing threading),I expect this lady is aware of them. That and the fact that she sent a grainy pic at first shows that she was aware of the possible knee jerk reaction that she has probably been subjected to before.

It would seem that she has the strength of character to overcome what others may see as a problem and to let her personality and natural sexiness shine through and not to let it be a problem for her.

If the OP decided it was too much of a hurdle,I would ask 'who considers themselves to be perfect and demands perfection from others?'

And I would say that if she is not good enough for you, then you are not good enough for her either.

OP are you aware that pretty much every woman has fine downy hair on their faces?

The amount can vary and whether or not you notice it often depends on the colour of the hair.

If you don't like hair perhaps you should buy a blow up doll.

Sometimes it feels like it's just what they think natural looks like. Or the societally acceptable version of what a woman should look like anyway.

all women have some hair somewhere. it depends on your hormone levels as well as ethnicity how much. I have pcos and got hairs on my upper lip, chin, belly, and boobs and am very aware of it. I do make an effort to tidy it up but if its something you find very important maybe make it clear on your profile and be mindful that women can be very touchy about it...

I suffer with PCOS, and body hair is the major sympton I suffer with, it's an uphill battle to try and keep it under control. Sometimes I bother sometimes I don't, thankfully I have a sympathetic husband that has always seen past it. But now I'm older it doesn't bother me, but when I was younger the looks and snide comments I got was absolutely horrible.

I'm a lady of a certain age and even though I maintain myself well with waxing and plucking there are times I do have facial hair as does every woman on the planet.

I suggest OP that you make a clear preference 'no ladies with facial hair', or you could ask on initial message and risk her hitting the block button like she is a judge on BGT.

I have PCOS and grow a beard. I don’t mean a few downy hairs, I mean a full beard enough to rival even the manliest men. I have to shave twice a day to keep my face smooth. It used to upset me, after 12 years though and knowing it’s for life, I’m at peace with it. The only reason I don’t let it grow or skip a few days with the razor is because of what others think. It’s only one of a lot of symptoms I suffer from with the syndrome but it’s the one that really hit my confidence hard

That’s a myth, I’m a beautician, shaving doesn’t make hair grow back darker or thicker, but the blunt edge can make it appear so. Waxing gives a tapered hair and after a few years actually reduces the amount of hair that grows back ^_^

Sometimes I don't bother because it hurts too much.

You need to get a referral to an endocrinologist, obvs I don’t know you but has your dr mentioned metformin as treatment? Most of us with PCOS have insulin resistance which plays havoc with weight and hormones thus making testosterone rise and things like facial hair worse

So then, does this mean a woman with facial hair and/or a full bush won't be kicked out of your bed or be picked over on the forums?

Nice to see the misandry of the fab forums is alive and well! The womam clearly mislead him with the blurry photo. If a man had turned up to meet a woman 5 stone heavier than his photos / 10 years older / bald when he said he had hair then he'd be strung up as a catfish.

As long as a lady is comfortable enough in her own skin and is confident, I don't see what the issue is.

If you have a preference, fine. However if you go against your preferences just to get a fuck, you deserve a block.

"I have PCOS and grow a beard.

I am exactly the same! PCOS is a right pain in the arse. I also have to shave twice a day to keep the visable hair away and skin smooth.

I agree 100% that this symptom is the worst of them all, really gets me down sometimes and esp when gp's and consultants wont do jack shit to help

You need to get a referral to an endocrinologist, obvs I don’t know you but has your dr mentioned metformin as treatment? Most of us with PCOS have insulin resistance which plays havoc with weight and hormones thus making testosterone rise and things like facial hair worse "

Imo losing the hair on your head was far worse for me, it's permanent.

I've lost enough weight now my hormones are under control and my periods have returned naturally, and yet I still have all the symptoms I had before.

Two of the most attractive women I have ever know had facial hair.

One, an ex gf used to bleach her top lip to make it less noticeable. The other - an acquaintance, I hadn't even noticed until somebody else mentioned it.

Perhaps I'm less superficial than I thought!

I have to shave my big toes, as bizarre as that sounds. Hubby jokingly says I'm a hobbit. I don't expect anybody to happily accept that I have hairy big toes, hence why I shave them.

I don't have any noticeable facial hair, but if I did I'd have it removed. I just see it as a logical thing to do really.

"It's interesting to me (and this an observation and not intended to be in any way argumentative) that there was a recent thread bemoaning the fact that women alter their looks. One contributor explained how he disliked make up and preferred the natural woman underneath.

So what is it that men do want? The natural woman or their version of what a natural woman looks like?

I'm well aware that women put just as much pressure on other women to present a sanitised hair free version of womanhood too though."

Yes it is serious, one should also state if they don't wish to meet women with elephant trunks or four legs in case it offends those who are species fluid.

Ok , I guess one could put that a smooth pussy is preferred , but to put on ones profile that you don't want to meet meet women with facial hair ?

Yes it is serious, one should also state if they don't wish to meet women with elephant trunks or four legs in case it offends those who are species fluid. "

why don't we just put everything we like or dislike on here I'm sure the list is endleq

Not 100%serious, no. I've seen loads of profiles saying they won't meet people unless they're smooth in "all the important places" whatever that means. I'm guessing upper lip is important here.

However in reality I wouldn't really expect anyone to put "no hairy faces" it does seem a step too far for the genteel folk of fab who are quite happy to state their preference for hair or not on every other part of the human body.

Facebook tried that, they ended up with 71 options for "what is your gender?"

"Just curious is facial hair on a woman a good look?? Has anyone else had any similar experiences???"

Imagine that she still wants to meet you despite your floppy ass dick. She overlooked your flaws and appreciated you for being you.

"Oh for fuck's sake!! Women on here bitch about men with hairy backs etc all the time. Or finding bald men a turn off. It's oh so hilarious when women slag men off for having body hair but a tragedy when men do the same about women.

Yes to answer the OP I've met people people in person that I didn't fancy. It's why I do socials first. People are turned off by many different things.

Men get bitched at for supposedly fucking any wet hole yet when they say they didn't fancy a woman they get bitched at anyway? "

Get yourself one of those new super realistic sex dolls, she will a pretty face, great hair and tits and will let you do absolutely anything you want. Best of all she won't have a mind of her own and won't be able to formulate thoughts like 'This guys a dick'.

Failing that, you could always move to Stepford.

You made a fair point OP. If you liked the woman then why not very gently mention it instead of getting grossed out and running off and dumping the woman for good? Especially about the hairy bush thing because she might actually agree and offer to trim that bad boy down a bit for both of you. The top lip hair is a very touchy subject for most women granted but not all women some will have taken this onboard and either dumped you because they're happy with the light hair on the top lip or they would have got it waxed off and problem solved. Anyway I think some women on here took it a bit too seriously my friend.

He made the entire thing up, got attention from multiple people who haven't bothered reading the thread, then pretended to care about the fact he's wasted people's time with vacuous claptrap... And on and on the thread goes lol.

It's hilarious really because it shows how much people don't listen to each other, how much people manipulate each other, how much people talk about utter meaningless crap, how little some people respect other people's time and how much time some people have to waste on utter bollocks lol x

Miss I read the whole thread. I don;t believe he did make it up, I think he brought up a touchy subject and realised it upset some women on here then backtracked. Hair on womens face puts some guys off but it obviously doesn't put most guys off. The original post was a fair point but I was curious as to why not mention it to her not being rude or blunt but gently bringing it up surely that's better than just dumping her and running off? She might not even be aware of it.

Are you going to meet her again?

I don't think there's any body shaming by the way, some will like a big bush others prefer a shaved pussy.

It's called preferences, not being shallow.

Maybe when we show our profile again we will add that we don't want to meet women with beards and moustaches .

This is merely enhancing our opinion that the site is becoming ever more ridiculous , perhaps we should just hang up our swinging boots

Yes it is. I pluck the long, wirey ones. The rest stay put and I've not had anyone complain. Although mine aren't dark, but some are quite long, under my chin and above my lip. I don't want the sweaty lip look after waxing that women get.

It's not a shock for a woman to see a beard or moustache on a man. It seems people freak out if a woman has them..

"I get hairs on chin.neck lips but as women hormones increase tend get more cannr be help .I try waxing mine.as mine are dark get odd on my boobs but it cannt be help that why I wax as people outside world think differently. But lucky my partner don't let this bother him. But please be honest to that person if you don't want anyone with facial hair mention it in your profile .

As I said earlier - mentioning on your profile that you dont wish to meet women with facial hair would be ridiculous .

How about those women who do have facial hair say so on their profile to warn people first ?

Why? I've seen women's profiles saying they don't like beards and moustaches.

Ok I guess we will never see eye to eye on this one so I give up .

Maybe when we show our profile again we will add that we don't want to meet women with beards and moustaches .

This is merely enhancing our opinion that the site is becoming ever more ridiculous , perhaps we should just hang up our swinging boots "

if my comments make you feel that way perhaps it is time to hang your swinging boots up. Of all people I would have thought you'd be the least likely to react that way

"Just curious is facial hair on a woman a good look?? Has anyone else had any similar experiences???"

It's not a shock for a woman to see a beard or moustache on a man. It seems people freak out if a woman has them.."

I admit I would look twice if I saw a woman with a proper beard and moustache. It's not an everyday thing.

My point really was that if a woman with facial hair (and we don't know how much or little this hypothetical lady had) is likely to put you off to the degree it did in this instance it might be best to make it clear or arrange a date for coffee and have a crafty look at her upper lip

But having grown up in the seventies I deem it deeply abnormal for a man to lose his erection at the sight of female pubic hair ffs, it always had the opposite effect in my experience lol!
