The south coast is an empty void regards swinging clubs

We live close to Portsmouth, aside from a social events, organised nights in a grotty local sauna and the odd party which is usually the same people.
This part of the county really is devoid of clubs Hampshire,west Sussex and Dorset to my knowledge don't have a single club.
It's a real pain having to travel while yes it adds to the experience but it also adds to the cost and time involved.
Anyone else have this problem? |

Try this side of the Solent, apart from the cost of crossing the worlds most expensive stretch of water, you've at least an hour to the journey to wherever  |

 We really need a more upmarket club. I don't want to go to saunas. |

We ysed to live in w.sussex and there was a place called Hamshaws it shut down and we moved is anybody on here that knows what went on and if it reopened? |

Hamshaws - aka Brighton Sun Club - was our first ever club visit and experience. Many moons ago, but it did close down and, I believe, became an old peoples home! So probably don't go knocking.
SJ's was also good and a lot of fun, also gone.
We're in a void too - too close to the local one to visit and everything else good is miles away |

Not true. No play in the spa but you can in the playrooms upstairs and that has open spaces |

What's an hour drive compared to the fun you can have.lots travel further than that for fun |

well if it was me id choose a club i wanted to visit , book a travelodge near by as there cheap but comfortable and clean and bingo, your going clubbing  |

all clubs have different things for all to enjoy just because they are not for you that doesn't mean they are crap, what about the new one opening soon near Canterbury is that crap too

Yep, welcome to our world. Exeter = Gems, route 69 = weston, the Attic = Darby. It's all to do with licencses. We're too prim and proper for sex clubs! It's really hard finding meets. |

I did wonder if that was the case but there are gay clubs I believe? Not been but there is one near hove station but it's guys only  |

I really don't class that as a spa suitable for swingers.
Its a naturist spa.
Have enjoyed it in the past but we broke the rules and are now banned. Fair enough they have their rules and we should have stuck to them but they do not really like swingers at Bghs. |

Someone was looking at opening one up in Lewisham not to long ago.
However the local council only permit one licenced adult premises in the Borough.
Which is possessed by my shop.
You may find that your local councils have a set limit on the number of licenced adult premises and that's why there isn't a club near you.
That or people have looked into it and decided that it's not financially viable for any number of reasons.

Couldn’t agree more the selection in Kent is nonexistent we have to travel to Tempsford which took 3 hours last time. Don’t get me wrong VA is worth it but something of similar standards in Kent would be most welcome xx |

Did you not like Pleasures in Maidstone? DV8 on the Sittingbourne / Medway border? Eurekas in Fawkham Dartford?

Friends of mine who have been said the same about those clubs too. However, they did say out of the 3, Pleasures seems the better quality club.
Reading a strangers opinion and club reviews, just seems to back up what I've previously been told. They don't seem my cup of tea either.
I may go and see this new Canterbury club when it opens. See if that one is a cut above the rest. You never know!  |

You’ll have to let us know. We didn’t realise one was opening in Canterbury but it might be to close to home for us. Maybe they’ll have a theme night and we can wear masks lol (no pleasing us lol) xx |
