So after a bit of heartbreak and a few weeks of upset and crying I am now single and no longer in a relationship it's been really hard so far and the loneliness has been unbearable, I am hoping you all may have some advice to help me through this difficult point in my life, anything would be appreciated. Thanks in advance x

Distract yourself...one day you'll wake up and it won't be the first thing you think of.

Hope your heart heals soon!

As others have mentioned, distraction is essential. Hit the squash court. Read some classics. Get out on the town with your friends. Learn to cook. Binge some series on Netflix etc.

Just make sure that you don’t head down the drink/drugs route. It’s a negative distraction technique.

Allow yourself a set amount of time each day to be sad. Wait until said set time. Keep yourself busy gym, cooking and learning all really helped me when my ex fiancé broke up with me.

But seriously just set 15 minutes aside to feel sad.

Don't rush into anything just to try and fill the void your feeling right now as you may end up regretting doing it, try keeping busy, do work in the house, go to the gym, bit of overtime at work, see family and friends and most of all talk to people even if you think your like a broken record, they won't mind you talking to them

Have to disagree never met anyone worth knowing on match (that’s £150 I’ll never get back) or tinder, lots of time wasters though. Maybe the guys have more fun on there and fab is better for the ladies

North Wales area

Take time for yourself, do the things that you've not been able to do. Like the guys said plan a holiday with your mates.

Take up sport or boxing something to take your frustration out on. Just don't jump into anything too fast and have a rebound relationship, I've been there trust me.

fresh start new chapter xoxo
