Just wondering why so many younger men are so turned on by women who would be classed as milfs ?
Is it something to do with readily available porn nowadays?
Kim went out with her friends last night and was constantly hit on by young guys, wanting to buy her drinks, telling her how hot she is ( she did look stunning).
I can’t remember being turned on by older women when I was young, or any other guys I knew being that interested either.

If she looks stunning men will be attracted to her. That coupled with perceived experience will bring them running.
When I was a younger women, those in their 40s and 50s mostly looked "old" and certainly didn't look sexy, my mum looked bloomin ancient. Many women nowadays don't think that 40 is the cut off point. |

I'm not sure, I've always been quite fixated on mature women, I think I find the experience a big turn on, I know women in their 20's & 30's can be well equipped but women in their 40's/50's have been having sex for possibly 20-30 years and that's hot to me.
Also I've worked with the general public since I was a young teen, I find I get on/click easier with older women than girls my own age.  |

My mum looks very young for her age and when I was a teenager, young guys would always be hitting on my mum.....
A guy once told me, knowing a women is fertile (not in he wanted to impregnate her) and had kids was a turn... Tapped into his base instinct of carrying on his genes.... Or something like that. |

I wouldn't call the woman MILF (When I was younger, it now sounds odd from a man my age). My fixation came from an over friendly art teacher who used to put her hand on my inside thigh, when leaning over to look at my work. She would send me into a abnormal heart rhythm. I get much more attention from younger guys than I do guys my own age.
Tbh I seem to relate to them better, guys my age seem old before their time.
Younger guys know how to have fun.
I'm 44 and always being told I don't look 44, or act/dress like a 44 year old.

This post has already made most of the points of why I'd say younger men can find older women attractive, rather than for more pornographic reasons. I know this is subjective to all and is only based on opinion.
I have seen that attraction though can have a lot to do on cultural influences, with a lot of attitudes changing around sex and people being more liberal I think it has opened doors for acceptance or even subconsciously persuading younger men to pursue older women. |

It is, it’s a way of degrading women down to an object for use. If a woman wishes to identify herself as such, fine but it’s a derogatory term used my men to objectify us. |

I think this is it in a nutshell; the primal instinct to procreate. Knowing a woman CAN reproduce ie, IS a mother, will attract a male of any age. I know when my wife and I were struggling to conceive, everywhere I looked there seemed to be women pushing prams...... |

Well your wife is pretty stunning so people will inevitably be attracted to her.
Also some men find that they can relate to an older women better. Perhaps they like their mentality personality and character more than younger women.

Right! I was unsure on what you referring to. I think there's a lot of porn terminology in society now but I think people have historically objectified one another. I agree though that it's a shame people use porn as a benchmark. I just try to not let what others talk about or think offend me unless it's directly aggressive. |

Whilst I'm not keen on the term MILF, I can certainly understand why younger guys are attracted to women who might be described as one. An attractive older woman, one who is sexually experienced and confident, that's quite a turn on for most guys, if only as a fantasy. |

Yes I would put all of those terms in the same category although I understand they have passed into common parlance now and can be a useful shorthand (for those arranging events for example). It doesn't mean to say that I like them though. As for the discrepancy in pay between male and female porn stars, well I think that's the only profession you will find the scales tipped in the woman's favour! |

When I was in my late teens, I remember being very attracted to our next door neighbour who’d now be classed as MILF I’d expect. However she was about the only older lady I found attractive. Seems to me that these days Ladies in their 40s and 50’s take more care of themselves dress younger than they did back then. |

When I was at school, I remember the lads being attracted to Carol Vorderman, I never got it as she seemed ancient to me at the time.
At 39, I hadn't considered myself a MILF until an ex boyfriend said I was now in MILF territory and O was pretty horrified! MILF makes me think of either Bet Lynch or 'Stiffler's Mom' - neituer of which are characters I identify with.
I'm of looking forward to turning 40 soon although with my relative age comes experience and inner confidence of sorts.
