Anyone peed off at the excessive used of Hun, huni, hon and kisses at the end of nearly every line in texts, emails or messages?

I like to think we don't say it after every sentence or blow a kiss in the real world

What's that about, are they too keen, desperate or really like the person...

Not that bothered realy, i like it when people put kisses at the end of their message, it sounds friendly. Dont like men who say, hows you though.

south staffs

It is a nice way of showing in type what the receiver would have been able to see and/or feel if the message had been told in person.

I think it's just a case of finding something to moan about, I mean really, what harm does it cause.

Dundee/Angus/Blackpool

its prob something that people just end up doing automatically from time to time, and usually it is the ladies i would say do it more than guys i would guess...but i wouldnt have thought it would drive someone insane hehe and btw my word habit is saying hehe a lot - just a force of habit of saying that in the last 5 yrs or so *smiles*

the world is a desperate enough place as it is without stopping people ending their messages in a friendly way.

a kiss indicates affection that is absent from the written word, and may be missed as emotions are difficult to convey on a keyboard.

nicknames (hun, babb, chick et al) shows friendliness and promotes a feeling of ease in a situation, or gratefulness when help is afforded.

lets be honest, you call people mate afer first talking to them (and dont say you dont because we all catch ourselves doing it, and its difficult to call someone by their name when you dont know it) which further exsentuates(sp) the use of nicknames.

which is easier?

cheers hun x

or cheers dirtylittleminxthat'lldoanythingforachocice x

exactly!

Just to clarify

it's not the bit at the end of the message, but every line posted in messages or IM etc.

Look at chat, you see it there...

Anyway, I don't want to play hun xx anymore

xx
