He ghosted me afterwards, though- so now my filters are going back to 34+. I even felt stupid and embarrassed for starting a chat and meeting, haha. I know it can happen at any age but this has definitely made me wary of meeting anyone under 34! |

Whilst I do think the never able to hold a real relationship swinging this young is incorrect. I do think that getting Into this sort of scene young when you havent had your crazy early twenties with one night stands and failed relationships etc could potentially leave you jaded to normal relationships out in the vanilla world.

We're not against meeting 20-year-olds in principle. It's about maturity. In general, the 20-year-olds we have met (not through swinging) just don't have the maturity we would need. That's not to say there aren't exceptions but we would be very doubtful if one contacted us. Most messages we get from single guys are awful. Somebody that young would have to say something pretty special to get us interested.
I recommend what somebody said higher up. Have some uncomplicated experiences. You are very early in your adult life. Learn from experience what you like and what you can offer. Have some romance, have some flings. Swinging is for later in life in my opinion when you have found your feet and have some life experience to offer. That's not to say there aren't exceptions by any means. Just don't think of swinging as Dial-a-Shag for horny young men. It definitely isn't that.

I'm old enough to be your mum/dad/grandparent so it's weird
I'm totally prejudiced against young people and don't think they have the same maturity and stamina

For us yes far too young, for others obviously not.
We tend to say for single guys they have to be over 30 - usually by this time the majority have stopped trying to get Mrs to call them daddy or haven't got a milf complex - for women it is lowered but only by a couple of years.
We honestly find we have nothing in common with anyone under 25 and struggle to find a spark.
