Indeed - sometimes it feels almost pointless to meet someone off here when there is so much exotic opportunity in town.

Have to agree with this, been coming to cap years before we moved here and never prearranged meets from sites beforehand...For us part of the fun is not knowing who your going to meet.

Holland !

We've been at the Cap for a week, and have a week and a half to go. Got to be the horniest place on earth.

This happened yesterday ( and, no-one will believe it ) ....

.... I was sitting on the beach, Peg was turning up a little later, and this INCREDIBLY hot lass comes up to me and asks if I play with others.

"Yes, but only when Peg is with me"

"Can I touch ?"

"When Peg is here"

Message to single men .... This is not an everyday occurance here.

She has my phone number.

- Al

We are just back too. A couple of observations......

Greengrocers shop in Ambonne has now gone to be replaced by yet another clothes shop.

New paint job at Jardines Babylones?? What drugs were they on?

Babylones remains reassuringly expensive and so for the large part a really classy venue.

Glamour foam party as ever - simply awesome and the pool party at Babylones - fantastic.

This was the first time in five years we have been and never made it to the beach. Also somehow never made it to a Club at night either but still had a complete blast.

Ah, well - not to worry - just about to book again for August. Three weeks today!

"Is Babylones a hotel, and if so is the pool party strictly for guests ?"

Jardines de Babylones is an apartment complex reserved exclusively for couples via the AGN Agency. Not sure if the pool party is exclusive - don't think so - there were lots of new boobies and sexy bits around on that day lol.

It really is quite expensive to stay there and a bottle of wine by the pool will set you back €30 a time but it is so, so worth it.

AGN have got that sector of "libertine" couples absolutely nailed.

Never mind the E30 for a bottle of wine, they quote an outrageous price for Newcastle brown Ale !!

I wouldn't worry about it. We saw you two in Glamour on Sunday afternoon by the way - we were just a bit uhmmm - busy - and then something else happened and then Mrs Hot said she was freezing and starving and all of a sudden that was that. Never mind we will hopefully be back in August again and can be a bit more polite this time and say hello.

We've just stopped in babylone. The rooms were crap. The pool however is very nice. Two lagers 16 quid. We enjoyed it for what it was, but wont be returning, it's nicer to nip out for a beer and see who youll meet, for us anyway. An appartment again from now on, rathe3 than The tea time show

Hello Senselessname,

"were is cap d how long is flight thanks"

Cap D'Agde is in the South West of France, not so far from the Spanish border. Flights from the U.K. are a little over two hours, depending on which airport you use. Another alternative is the rail via Eurotunnel and TGV to Montpelier.

Great place and I have many happy memories of holidays there.

Alec

Must be a different Cap d'Agde to where everyone else goes cos that is SE France

Did we see you there? We are auburn red curly hair (she) and long blonde hair (he)? I remember you saying that you would be there at the same time so I thought it inevitable we might bump into you - did we not?

Shame you did not like the apartment - I thought that they are about the newest around and the one bedrooms quite spacious, wi fi in rooms, air conditioning, microwave, dishwasher etc. What did you find crap? We have stayed in a lot worse places in Cap d'Agde that is for sure. Are you talking about expectations in terms of value for what you paid?

I have heard that complaint made a lot by Brits about Babylones and Eden and from our perspective the cost of a High Season week in any of those two places is about the same as a week in Desire and in terms of value - Desire gives heaps more - It is just that it costs four times as much to get there!! lol

Ah - well - until next time......

Must say, we are not so downhearted - we have just booked to go back again in mid August

Yeah we saw you there, both when we arrived.... Motorcycle clothes... Red hot.... 6pm and a couple of times over our stay. Mrs too hot pushed you into the pool as you left the first evening we were there and had come to the pool for a dip. Much to the joy of the watching Dutch foursome (Dutch ?). We just thought the appts were poorly finished and tired. I suppose, murals in corridors and building pillars painted like vines and snakes aren't our thing

Not really bothered would take more than a couple of idiots thinking they're funny to get to us ...lol Never spotted you at the foam, but like you say always so much going on you don't always notice people.Last weekend was really windy which isn't the best for a foam party no matter how sunny it is,its freezing when your wet.

Off to the foam today and tomorrow and l' extasia tonight.Look forward to crossing paths maybe in august.

The complex was being built 2005/2006 and was called Residence du Cap - it was being offered as a leaseback investment in the general market and was supposed to be managed by Residhotel. I bought one of the units in 2005 and then problems arose with the builder running out of money and Residhotel panicking when they realised that the complex was inside the naturist zone.

AGN stepped in and "finished" the complex - to a budget but have added to it every year. You can tell where it has not been finished properly - like no tiles on the balconies and the unfinished pathways and concrete block pathways. AGN have actually done a great job raising the standards there without asking for any contributions from the apartment owners but I reckon that at the end of the first lease term we will be asked to make a contribution and I, for one, will not object because AGN have proven that they can raise a phoenix from the ashes and with a fairly limited budget deliver quite a unique holiday experience.

It does have a not quite finished look about it and to be honest the paint job was a shocker to us and will prove high maintenance in the long run trying to keep on top of it. The reasoning is that over a period of time they are attempting to make the front of the building resemble a Temple of Babylon. Did you not see the artists impressions in the lobby? Next job is murals of tigers, elephants and lions across the balcony fronts - yeek!

Well to enlighten you on maintenance costs, and possibly to forewarn you, paint in France is very expensive! A 2L tin costs 39E (ice cream container size). Our building is about to be done and our "share" is a mere 4,000 E on top the the standard charges levied! One of the reasons why the buildings can look a little tired!

Hello tooHot,

"Must be a different Cap d'Agde to where everyone else goes cos that is SE France"

Hardly East, that's more Frejus, Cannes etc, all are on the South coast and with Cap being less than 100 miles from the Spanish border (west of France) makes it more West than East.

Pedantics.

The Bay of Biscay covers what is known to be north west, west and south west France.

If the Cote d'Azur is to be renamed SE France (as opposed to the South of France as it currently is) - Then that would make the Languedoc actually the South of France. However, it borders the NW coast of the Med, not the northern coast which complicates matters further.

However, most people would probably stay with convention and the Cote d'Azur remaining the South of France. Biarritz has always been the SW of France so that means the Languedoc is in something of a geographical identity pickle.

Perhaps they should just be French Catalunya..... oh wait a minute - they are

Personally, I would say that the Languedoc is the true South of France - but can you imagine trying to change that convention now...

Spain is West of France? What happened to the Atlantic Ocean? Did it go south for the summer like most of France does.... Well SW or SE depending on how you hang with these things...

Going with convention again, I think Spain is south of France no? The border running roughly East-West. The land mass extends south and west, but not sure at all that Spain is west of France.
