Lets hope it's 4th time lucky.
Once again, we've had to amend our holiday to the Riu Republica in Punta Cana.
20th November 2021 for 2 weeks...Lets hope it goes this time.
Anyone else taking the chance and heading out there at the same time?   |

Not going but have been. Its an amazing hotel but nighttime entertainment abit blah.nightclub opens at 11 but doesnt hold many people Day time entertainment in the party pool is great.3 pool bars are amazing food is great and the staff are amazing. You cant go out alone so escorted trips a must. Soana island well recommended. All in all paradise .k |

Please don’t think you can’t “leave the compound” you really can.
You do need street smarts.
You do need to be sensible.
Don’t be “flashy” - watches or gold
Be respectful
But - it really is perfectly safe and we love the country.
Should you enjoy a holiday within a holiday - boca chica is a fun place with many ladies would would enjoy your company. Great bar, beaches and sea and some more interesting entertainment than your hotel.
May I suggest hotel garent as a good base.
