That's it, thrown the work keys at my deputy, panniers loaded onto the bike, I'm officially "ON HOLIDAY".
So, to France tomorrow, then...who knows, I have no firm itinerary. ( Though maybe I'll avoid the area which appears to be harbouring a crazed gunman who killed 4 people today) Not got weeks and weeks this year to pootle about, so won't be getting much further than South of France.
If anyone's out in France, travelling about, living there, whatever, and is up for some company, please get in touch. Obviously, outrageous sex is preferred, but social meets are just as welcome, especially if I'm freezing my nuts off or looking for somewhere to dry out! (And if previous years are anything to go by, it's not going to be long before I'm frozen, sodden and seriously pissed off)
All things considered, it's got to be better than being here, but still, hoping to meet some interesting people (for a change!). |
