Thankfully I'll be on the beach in Patong from 7th - 21st March. Got my Thailand pass thank god, everything in place. Happy days.

Just need to keep my fingers tightly crossed for the next 11 days that something doesn't go tit's up.

"Seriously thinking about going for the month of March,Pattaya is it open??"

It's open but it's deaf. Did a video link up this pm with my brother, bars and streets largely deserted. And btw, all internet access to western media has been cut since early pm Bangkok time.

A lot of bars are open but close at 11pm. Haven’t noticed any restrictions on internet access to western media at all?

Landed in Phuket (Patong) today, I have to say, not a lot has changed from a couple of years ago. Maybe not as many numerically but all the bars are busy, the beach is busy, no internet problems.

Looking forward to the next 2 weeks if this carries on.
