Olu Deniz is lovely... you can also take a boat trip to fethiye and calis. Better shopping in Hisaronu than fethiye though.
Agree it will probably be too cold too swim early May ... but then you might not be a wimp like me. I swam in the pool mid May and couldn't feel my toes at all! |

Stayed in Kalkan about 8 years ago. To the best of our knowledge there isn't any adult clubs but there is Turkeys only nudist beach a 15/20 mins drive away.

It's called Patara Beach. When you walk down on to the beach, turn to your right and you have to walk approx 30-40 mins. I must warn you it's not a designated nudist beach as it is illegal to be nude (and topless also I think) but it is an unofficial place to bathe naked. Watch out for the single Turkish men who can be a little creepy sometimes  |

Go for turkish bath in your 1st day, it removes all dead skin and makes a fresh canvas for a tan. Defo helps tan better, just be sure to maybe shower after your out as they finish off putting an oil on to soak into the skin... but the sun loves it a bit too much for a first day or 2 |
