In the west.

I have stayed in Rhodes town and Lindos but only for a few days in each place.

Rhodes town has a lot of cultural places, Lindos is verrrry hot.

If you get a chance and have the time you could go on a day trip to Symi. It's a small island about an hour away, there is a boat trip most days during the summer.

Rhodes is a fantastic place been loads of times bk there September a visit to old rhodes Town is worth it .

just one thing about Lindos, if you are one of those, like me, who attracts mosquitoes take plenty of repellant; last time I was there I missed spraying one night and got a dozen bites
