Fly with Thai air to bangkok and get a cheap transfer at the airport for the hour flight to.phuket, the stop off is only 2 hours and cost approx £680 as its high season.

use kayak for flight search.if u look round now ur talking around a ?1000 mark.I fly out of Manchester on Qatar as there's no direct flights with a 2hour stop over into Doha 9am flight out 7am into bkk taxi takes about a hour to pattaya
