We are intrigued by these adult only cruises. If anyone has been on them can you please let us know what they are like for meeting like minded couples? What has the atmosphere been like with regards to this when you’re on the cruise?
We are thinking of maybe a Europe one during the Summer of 2024. We like the idea of an adult only cruise but want to understand a bit more before we commit.

As with any cruise it's worth getting there the day before you sail if it's practical.
Public transport from tbe airport to Piraeus port is very good and cheap, about 9 euros, whereas a taxi can be 60. You'll need to get to Terminal C. |

We've met several on VV Cruises, and genuinely made some friends for life.
On our first two VV cruises we met a few couples who are in the lifestyle, and one couple we still speak with everyday.
On the more recent one, there was a gang of 10 of us (5 couples - 4 in the lifestyle), and we had a fabulous time. |

Yeah it’s difficult to know who is who, so i guess trying to find couples on here or facebook groups before the cruise is the best option! |

As Fun16 says, we found the Facebook groups are probably the best way to find people ahead of the sailing. However, once you're on board, I think you'll find your people regardless. |

they status match other companies such as MSC. I status matched my Amex Platinum Hilton Honours Gold status to MSC to get dimond. Then MSC to Virgin for all the deep bounty. My friend also did it that we’re travelling with. It’s totally worth it for the free laundry and premium coffee not to mention the priority boarding and extra bar tabs.

We me a travel agent onboard the Greek Island Glow who is hosting an unofficial swingers and bears cruise 18th-25th August 2024 French Days Ibiza Nights. If you're still thinking of a summer booking next year this could be the one to do |

I think some might have been, obviously everything has now gone tits up with the cancellations. They had several of the Mega Rockstar Suites, so finding a suitable alternative is going to be tough.
Ours is a little less problematic, since we had standard Sea Terrace, might use it for the Rome - Miami next Autumn. 15 nights and about $2400 of loot/bar tab to spend.
We love VV and now have 3 MNVV to sort out… |

There aren't any designated dates as such but there are certain dates that we know of that groups have organised unofficially.
18th-25th August French daze ibiza nights cruise is and unofficial swingers and bears cruise hosted hosted by a usa independent travel agent not sure on numbers though.
23rd-27th August Portsmouth to Amsterdam hosted by us with 21 couples in our group plus about 3 or 4 other couples that aren't booked with us.
19th September Portsmouth to Amsterdam. Think that has around 10 couples onboard maybe more. The sexless swingers can give you more idea on this one.

19th September Portsmouth to Amsterdam. Think that has around 10 couples onboard maybe more. The sexless swingers can give you more idea on this one.

We go on these cruises to enjoy time together as a couple. If we meet other like minded people, that's amazing, but we're happy to go with the flow.
Do agree though, if it's key for you to meet swingers, then a fully chartered ship would obviously suit more than a Virgin Voyage. |

We dont want a full on Swingers cruise. We prefer the thought of a normal cruise whereby it’s adult only and knowing the fact there will be a few others on board who are into this lifestyle. We are not really into the full on in your face 24/7 approach. It’s the same regards our holidays. We go to Gran Canaria and yes there are options to go to a full on swingers hotel but thats not our thing! We prefer a mix of normal and lifestyle x |

We check fab and see who is nearby and message when in port. There are those who have pineapples, black rings on right hand and door decals (virgin are hit and miss with removing them. They are repositioning away from being risqué to being just an adult cruise. It seems to be whenever senior management are on board as to what the rules are). |

We are thinking 8th September Iresistable Med & Rome out of Barcelona, however we have heard reports that Virgin are toning down the ‘risky’ attitude about their cruises. Is this true?

Even though the cruise line has definitely toned down since it's launch the sailors onboard still get pretty wild so wouldn't worry about it too much x |

Hi, just be as daring as you want to be. Our most recent two, Mrs G has worn Honey Birdette underwear under silk pyjamas or kimono, and Mr G has dressed in a Hugh Hefner style gown!!
Probably so long as nipples are covered, anything is acceptable. |

Please don’t think Virgin cruises are swinger cruisers. They are for adults only, who like to enjoy themselves. When you put 2500 adults on a boat, chances are some will be swingers.
We did meet a lady with a pineapple tattoo on our last Virgin cruise, although she pleaded innocence. Lol. |

We’re interested in booking an adult cruise next year too. Hopefully will meet some lifestyles on it. After listening to mr and mrs G on there podcasts. It a must.
Only thing is we’ve never been on a cruise before so could do with some good suggestions if possible.

It’s not in your face 24/7, there are play rooms but you don’t have to go in them and you can’t just get it on anywhere as there are the normal cruise staff going about their business. What there is, is a lot of fun people. |
