Thought it would be handy to start a post for FAB members to post their Dubai dates for this year.
We will be there 26th August to 3rd September, Staying at a mix of Address Beach Resort, Madinat & Caesars Palace.

Sounds lovely! We would love to spend NYE in Dubai, but then realised what the hotel prices were like! So had to think of other options!  |

It’s incredible!! Was at a NYE party in zero gravity a few years ago and it’s right up there with one of the best nights I’ve ever had omg the memories!! I know what you mean about the hotel prices. Used to always book hotels when I went for the first few trips but would seriously recommend looking into apartments around JBR, the marina and internet city.. much better value and you can come and go as you please (and stock up in the duty free on arrival so you can enjoy pre drinks before heading out..). If ye have any questions etc, don’t hesitate to ask!! There a few times visiting friends and family over the past number of years |

Good advice always handy to use a VPN otherwise you may find you cant access FAB on the internet. We have found that some hotel WiFi we can access FAB but others we cant! If you using a VPN though there will be no issues x |

I do the palm boardwalk 10k at sunset a couple of times a month it’s a good way to lose a couple kilos of sweat |

Yeah - in Abu Dhabi we got the full effects. Storms on Saturday night, and patches of rain yesterday and this morning. Damn cloud-seeding ! Was just as humid this morning as well as I schlepped round a pathetic 3.5k !! |

It depends on what hotel you are staying in, some let you view Fab and others there will be a block. There are lots of free VPN’s on the app stores but they include lots of ads etc. Nord is probably the most well known but would cost a bit. |

Express vpn is really good , and you can sign up for a free 7 day subscription, don’t forget to cancel tho incase they take the monthly (£10 ) subscription… in over there 27th may - 7th June …. |

They are much cheaper to book online and pay in £ through sites like Getyourguide, Xclusive are decent , speedboat , sunset cruise with dinner etc |

Slightly longer than 10 mins (it’s right by the airport) but it’s a brilliant bar, when it’s not too hot to be outside. Live band, great food and great service. Highly recommend it ! |

Slightly longer than 10 mins (it’s right by the airport) but it’s a brilliant bar, when it’s not too hot to be outside. Live band, great food and great service. Highly recommend it ! "
It’s ok but like you say too hot for that outside area. I prefer Fibbers on Shiekh Zayed , near WTC metro |

I came to the uk it’s so fucking hot, 2 weeks ago I was lying in Al Awari desert watching the meteor shower at 3am and it was still 34 degrees and I couldn’t breathe. Looking forward to a beautiful winter though |

The humidity hasn’t been as bad for the last couple of days. Let’s hope that continues! We’ll soon be in those lovely warm shoulder months all through winter … that why I love living here so much !!! |
