Great beach just 2/3 miles out of town by the dunes. There isn't any clubs or such in town, mccarthys is a good night though for a drink and bit of music.

Most fun happens in those dunes apparently and not at night.

Yes your in one of two hotels opposite the sand dunes. There are stone circles along most of the beach there

Have heard that it can be windy around this time...do you recommend a beach tent or is it so you can have some privacy...or both?

If you do need a beach tent is it best to take one with you or buy a cheap one there?

save the space in your case you can go in the stone circles that have been built on the beach to get out of the wind .. it always there (the wind) but just a pain in the dunes .. sand always gets where sand shouldn't..
