Kit kat is amazing, just check out their website for the dress code, they have an instagram with some pictures too, also check out torture gardens dress code, very similar
for the men pvc/latex shorts and a chest harness or collar
Women: harnesses, fetish underwear, nipple stickers
Basically anything fetishy will get you in kit kat, if going on a saturday go early. It opens at 8pm and there was no queue when we went, nice chilled vibes around the pool. Party started at 10pm
We've also been to rso, mainly more of a dance club but sexy play is part of the scene in a lot of clubs, so it had cubby areas to play and a great dungeon with sex swings.
Expect lots of techno and sex positivity with a kinky vibe.

Love Insomnia. Goes super late. Couples play area in balcony. You can buy clothes in dedicated shops in Berlin. There’s one very near to KadeWe on WittenB’g Platz. Keep eye out for their Depeche Mode nights. Site is detailed and accurate as to themes. Insta also.
Avarua is ok, but didn’t offer anything mind blowing in our view. |

We are visiting in early December and have been looking at hopefully visiting a club there.
We have looked at KitKat and like the look of it but not sure if it’s our thing, mainly because of the dress code and having to travel through the city (wife okay with it but husband not keen on wearing pvc/leather and that whole look) can anyone give any advice if they have previously visited.
Are there any other venues where the dress code is a bit more relaxed, or even a sex show theatre anywhere around the centre?
Will keep an eye on this thread and if anyone has suggestions just drop us a message please. |

For kitkat just take a photo of your outfit and show it to the bouncer on the door if asked, go early as the queue gets long and theres areas to chill. There's a changing area at kitkat so you don't have to go in outfit. Wednesday and saturday nights are the best.
Checkout insomnia too. Lots of techno music in Berlin so if that's your vibe too you are good  |

Check resident advisor for gigs, we had a great night at rso, ir has a good playroom downstairs with swings, bit out of the city but you can get the metro there.
If you are brave berghain is supposed to be good but it is hard to get into, best music on sunday nights for sure |

We’re in Berlin from 12th to 15th Dec, so got Fri, Sat, Sunday Eve to work around. Looks like Kitkat then on the Saturday for sure. Land around 5pm, straight to the hotel and get ready for Insomnia by looks of things for the Friday.
That Sunday 14th Dec looks like a chocolate themed event at Avarus, not our thing so maybe a chill night, meal, a drink or two. Open to socials and hot hotel meets  |

There is a Swingers bar that not many people talk about it, it’s more discreet and it has a vibe more like a bar than a club, although there’s play areas. Bar Moechtegern, we have been a few times and it was always good fun, at least to meet people. |

Berghain was a strange place.
Very heavy and not a great feeling there for me at all.

Kitkat is everyone friendly, lots of bi and queer there most nights (kinky dress code- pvc/leather shorts/trousers and a chest harness will do it, black boots). Berghain is more for gay guys but everyone is welcome, hard to get in there. |

The dress code varies by night & event. Their website is very detailed. On Hedomanie which is a Sat night event there was a strict dress code & smart dress to impress like in UK wouldn’t be accepted.
There’s lots of good shops selling fetish ware in Berlin and getting an outfit is part of the fun. |

Insomnia is more sex club with techno. Kitkat is more dancing with sex happening all around you. Music at kitkat is better than insomnia. Insomnia is less swing from our experience, most couples were playing with each other. Kitkat is a bit free-er but I guess it depends on the night. |
