Hi

The Mrs and I are thinking about going to the Cap d'agde next summer, been to PDI a number of times and fancy a change. Anyone got any advice for us?

Especially looking to find an apartment near to the action which won't break the bank.

Many thanks in anticipation.

have been many times about 5 this year ..you should avoid july/august .. expensive and many french/german take over the place..may/june/late aug/sept great for swingers

accomodation will cost about 100euro per night add eating out clubbing etc will cost about 300 ..

many places for letting book before february. although last few seasons crowds have been well down..your link shown here can be very helpful

If you research, you will get accommodation for as little as £60 pn - that's a renovated studio with aircon and includes bedding, towels incl beach, cleaning & taxes - all these are normally extra, and you may have to pay a booking fee as well. As said above you have to factor other costs, but you can get a 3 course set menu for 12€!

You will find most place in cap closing up for the season mid sept the best times to go are june, early july or end of aug /beggining of sept. And if you have never been before there is no place else like this any where else. Dress wise well its a naturist resort so nude during the day and evenings you will see the women in some spectacular sexy outfits and the men in smart casual any thing goes and of all ages.

As swingatcapdagde said you can eat very reasonably or very expensive ,pizzaflora is a great very reasonabley priced place and a good place for meeting people. Pm swingatcapdagde they have a very nice appartment to rent just off the complex

And a lot of it will be closed.

We went for an extra week at the end of September a couple of years ago and it was very much in wind down mode.

As Barcafun says, late June or early July are great, or late Aug into early Sept.

We will be there 1st or 2nd week July next year, and will be booking it before Xmas.

November update! As we live here now this is how we have found it! Play time is weekends! If your looking for lots of Brits look again. Mainly French, with some Dutch & Germans mixed in. The schedule is go for dinner around 9ish - most of the restaurants have live music - some pretty good too! Dinner, dancing & a little pre amble then onto a club or an apartment
