Have been to puerto yrs ago when the kids were young and it was ok, quite lively and beach was nice  ..
off to teguise in just over 4 weeks (11th dec) so will let u know what its like |

We live on the island and if coming for Christmas there will certainly be more going on in PDC, there are certainly no play bars anywhere on the island. Spice is the only option for that.
PDC is busy and brash, Costa Teguise is a little more staid so make your choice. |

We've stayed in Costa Teguise many times, and would recommend it if you like a laid back area, with some lovely restaurants and a lovely square area.
Always grab the lovely comfy bus's into PDC for approx 6euros for 2 (one way - they dont do returns).
