Le 2 et 2 sauna in Port Ambonne. Much more than just a sauna but a wet club, bar etc ans always busy on rainy/ cloudy days. |

It's so busy at Cap d'Agde right now there is very little spare parking, so definitely not winding down for the summer. |

as a bi-curious man it will be an education!! If you go with an open mind (and some money) you will have a good time. Single men are sometimes seen as a scourge due to the actions of a few spoiling it for others but really the whole place accommodates everyone |

It's about 100 deep in the que today too... Massive thunder storms... We just purchased a day pass so can't leave the complex. Is there anywhere you (or anyone else) would recommend to eat? Also any idea where we may find the elusive Brits? Our French is terrible! Haha |

Reasonable food and not expensive try Gymnos in Helipolis, the big round complex near Glamour Club. Would suggest for your age group, Bar Eros tonight followed by Glamour Club. You don't need to speak French in the bars and clubs, just smile and dance or be a bit forward in the club play areas. |

also bars and clubs don't get going till later so Bar Eros after 11pm and Glamour after midnight at least. The most full on play wise club is Tantra upstairs couples only lounge but again after midnight and a slightly older crowd. |

Thank you everyone.. you've all been a great help... Now our eagerness got the better of us and we've had a dinner... Currently sat in johnny workers but it's only 6:30pm. We're in for a long wait before anything gets going. Any entertainment? Show bars etc? Something to help the hours tick by till play time? |

too eager  has it stopped raining - a walk on the beach after a storm is always good - have a look in the dunes - you dont know what you might find |

Go and buy an umbrella from the newsagent across the way. Go for a walk, and have a look round yourselves. If in doubt, ask Johnny for directions! |

. You can have a great time there provided you accept that you will need to pay about 50 Euros to get into most clubs . Cap d Agde is an expensive place . Some nights in the Sauna are ones that I will remember for the rest of my life . |

Such a shame !
We spent a week at Aphrodite last month after two earlier weeks in the Cap!
We've stayed there or Eden for the last few years. The best beach we have ever stayed on. Simply wonderful as long as the wind stays down!
There is a club in Fitou called Alibi D'O but we have yet to try it. If you do please let us know how you found it to be!! |

Have just read a recent warning on a French website blog which applies to ALL those driving - especially when its dark: Foreign cars are being targeted on the Motorways. Cars are being flagged down by "so called" French plain clothed Police. They are then being robbed, keys taken and mobile phones taken so no alarm can be raised. POLICE say they would never use plain clothes officers in this instance. So don't open windows, lock doors or call 112 and report it. |

. Hi . You will find accommodation very easily in October . A member of this site swingatcapdagde has accommodation available inside the gate . Just a word of warning . The season closes during the last week of September and a lot of the shops are closed once the season ends . You might be better staying the last week in September . |

Will be there from September 18 to 27 th staying at Hotel Eve . Just returned from staying there last week
It is back to living in the real world for the next three weeks . I.e working full time running a businness part time , keeping my gardens in order and monitoring the movement in share prices on the stock exchange . It has been a roller coaster week with regard to the stock exchange
Meet wise very busy this week as everything seemed to happen after I returned on Sunday . Managed to have four meets this week and another in Belfast to night . However this are regulars not from fab.

Hi, We are going to Cap for our 7th time and really looking forward to it, we will be a bit late this year (16 - 23rd Sept) as we have had to spend time on some happy family issues. We are an older, but young at heart, couple that enjoys good company, couples and singles. We haven't booked yet but accommodation shouldn't be an issue that late in the season. If you fancy a meet in Johnny Wokkers drop us a line.

We went to most of the big clubs. By far the best is Tantra. Do not waste your money on glamour that is for sure. Last two days (sob sob) but wé are already planning our next trip.
Far less clothes next apart the kinky variety. Had an amazing time... |

We were dubious about jonny wokkers, worrying that it would be full of loud people from these islands.
It was in fact one of the highlights of our trip with Jonny and in particular Jenny being such great fun and lovely people.

sorry tried sending you private message but we are outside your ages!
Just wanted to say a huge thank you for posting and managing this forum, it has been brilliant to be able to keep track of who was going to be in Cap on the couple of occassions we were.
Not sure if it was you that suggested the meets on a Fri and Mon, we went to one and didn't meet anyone, and know others in the same boat. Can we suggest that next year the "sign" in the cafe is something visual, - an upsidedown hat with a book in the hat,on the table.- or something similar, can easily be spotted as you sit down and something everyone is likely to have to hand once over there!

Why would we do that? They were friendly, hospitable and fun hosts. Their pub was an invaluable meeting spot for folks from all over. The beer was good.
If others have gripes so be it - we don't need nor wish to know.
If you're reading this folks - hope to see you next year! Ps Jenny - thanks for the tip re St Guilhem le Desert xxx |

I'd like to echo the sentiments of others on here and propose a big vote for thanks to '_oo hot' for organising and managing this thread.
It certainly helped to enhance my (and, I'm sure, many others') 2015 visit to the Cap.
Perhaps we could campaign to get the site owners to institute such a thread as a permanent feature on here (as in the similar French entrecoquins site - do have a look).

The weather can be great, but in all likelihood it will be too cold for the beach and very restricted in the number of clubs. Weekend action only in reality.
If your first visit, wait til it's more in season.....

Here at the moment, many places winding down with several shops closed or reduced in size, stock etc bars much quieter at night, no where near as many people here as in July/ August , we won't come again in September preferring June July or early August when it's buzzing.
Can't comment on rest of the clubs as only visited 2x2 and sauna this visit which to be fair has been busy and spotlessly clean.

. I went in October once and it was completely dead . If you want to go this year , you are better going asap and a lot of places are closed after the end of September .

. Sometimes I prefer it when it is quietier . Service is better and you get a seat in the bars . At long as there are a reasonable number in Sauna Hamman I am happy.  |

Rugby World Cup starts on Friday. England v Fiji kick off at 9PM, after opening ceremony at 7.30. Have seen the Coup De Monde wall chart from a soft drinks company that has been issued to the bars. Please be careful with the timings, as in spite of the fact it is in French, the Kick Off timings are UK Add the traditional one Hour  |

Not so much the users of the bars that YOU mentioned more the bars themselves resembling heavens waiting room.
As for the smiley faces on the staff of the bars YOU mentioned it was a simple question as all we ever see is let's just say is not so smiley faces!
As for our journey home thank you it went well, we will be back again next weekend to close up our appartments for the winter but we won't be siting around watching rugby while we're there, if on the other hand you are we hope you get the right result.
We can't see what our double glazing or heating system has to do with you but if it worries you we will happily supply you with a reputable building contractor and we thank you for your concern.

The weather doesn't seem make any difference as the shops are already closing down and the bars are deserted by mid September, on the other hand you can at least walk the walk passed Melrose without getting crushed and you can get a drink straight away in the bars tha are left open. |

Excited to say - I am currently driving towards cap d'adge for my first ever visit.
Fortuitous enough to have a wedding nearby, so popping in for the afternoon / evening of 22nd sept.
Would love to meet up with likeminded fun loving people

We're lucky enough to live nearby, so it's easy to pop to the beach if the weather is like it has been this week.
But if it's your main holiday, it is a risk coming here in September as the weather is not so reliable.
It's our favourite month. As mentioned above, the bars are not crowded and everyone is feeling less pressured.
But there's no doubt that July and August are the two months when the place comes alive.
