Hi, could anyone please advise of any clothing optional hotels in Cap'.. We are looking to book now for next year although don't want a fully naturist hotel as we don't want to feel pressured to be naked for the whole time! Are there any that are somewhere in between as such?? Any help would be great x

You won't be pressurised any where in Cap to be dressed or undressed except maybe the naturist Beach!

However it is a NATURIST resort and fantastic as it is maybe it's not for you !

And of an evening most people are dressed extremely sexy as opposed to naked anyway.

Be aware though this place is addictive bringing us back year after year lol.m

we agree with the above .

why go there if you are not comfortable with being naked it is a naturist resort! that means getting your kit of!.

Its getting more an more a clothed resort caz feels uncomfortable when walking around naked as many clothed men stare at her .It is not meant to be a pervs paradise .this summer 5 pakistani men stayed in an apartment next to us .taking pics of everyone naked they were always clothed.

Its makes us feel as we are the odd ones out.give it a few years and we will be sadly.

While we have noticed that there are a an increasing number of clothed people around in the daytime we still think they are (thankfully) still a minority.

Had we seen the guys next door to you we would have certainly reported them to the reception. While it isn't compulsory to be naked, taking photo's of other people without permission is a definite NO GO and they would have at least got a serious bollocking for it.

Another thing we noticed... Men wearing sarongs!!! Wtf!

Why, if everyone is naked nobody cares it's only awkward when some feel the need to hide their bits

Everybody cannot be naked all the time there and you will always see some fully clothed people in the village.

For example we usually have a day or two outside the village so anyone who sees us walking to and from the car on those days would see us fully clothed. Not everyone is on holiday, some are working, and while some workers are easy to spot others are not.

In the daytime we are naked around 75% of the time but we do sometimes wear a sarong. Not so much to cover our bits (they get more than enough exposure) but sometimes it is easier to wear a sarong than to carry a towel to sit down on. Also sometimes I (Mr) find it a bit weird in the supermarket with my meat and two veg hanging over the meat and two veg, and if it's in the refrigerated display it isn't good for the ego either

After saying that we are always naked when to and from the beach or foam party's Etc and my early morning walk around the village is always with full kit off.

well as long as the others in the shop don't try and pick up your meat and 2 veg by mistake

my point was made at the people usually the men who walk around port ambonne in the daytime.much more clothed than unclothed we have been on 3 trips so far and in port ambonne there seems to be a lot of men who perv the women who are naked ,their eyes fixated on the foof .

Sorry but still don't get the sarong thing but hey ho

14 years ago we went for 4 days wondering what on earth we had let ourselves in for! it took us less than 1 hour to summon up the courage to strip off and sit on our terrace, few hours later there was no looking back!

We have gone once or twice a year! Go and enjoy, you don't "have" to strip off anywhere- except the beach. but it will feel natural and "normal" to potter around the shops wearing "not a lot" personally we like half saroongs for the shops, but anything goes, and you won't feel pressurised to do anything you aren't happy with. looking forward to meeting you out there!
